I was there for sticky’s stream and had the exact same reaction I was so unbelievably gobsmacked but GOD it’s honestly very rare to see the main character lose but the mod was SO DAMN AMAZING
I honestly like how despite everything boyfriends survival was of course not possible he was fighting a monster who had full control over the world he was in it shows he wasnt invincible his ego got the best of him and now this was the consequence
The best part is that many of them were still determined or hopeful to win. They all thought that they could win. And then he literally stabs them in the back. Lol Best mod ever. 10/10, would recommend again.
I was pretty shocked and kinda upset that in the end he died but i love it because most of the time bf and gf show they're unstoppable and they can't be harm in the end so this was a change of paste
Some opponents could absolutely kick their asses, even gf, but they just resort to singing anyway lol, it was bound to happen at some point, nice change of pace
It's kind of sad knowing that a lot of people don't even know about how much detail was put into this song, the background lyrics and the backup vocals go unnoticed in almost every video I see, but I understand that it would be hard to listen to it whilst also focusing on the chart.
Most the vocals are so hard to hear I STILL don’t know what they say. The impressions are hard to hear but you recognize them when you know. I love the Mario Bros Wii motif in Act 4 personally
It is inevitable that they canonically die in the mod, ever since the moment reveals that GF's powers doesn't work in M's world, which is the reason why Gf and Bf always survives from previous mods, but not this one
@@hazemaster007 uh yes? their deaths are still cannon to the mod 😐 not everything has a happy ending edit: the head of the mod has said its an open ended mod, so there isn't an actual ending, though most people go with the idea that they are dead, so that's the most popular "ending"
I kinda hate endings like this. Like if you still loose even if you play perfectly, what was even the point? For some reason I didn't feel the same way at the end of Cataclysm, though.

no in some of those mods he actually has the power to come back but M again says their powers do not work so his respawn doesn't work either
the credits show both gf and mx patting a scared bf so no they actually did survive somehow
