What a sweet, little design! Small, but well laid out so it flows and delivers all you need to live there. Does not feel cramped. And has the usual 'Rassel" interior design feel. Way better than a ho-hum studio apartment.

What an adorable place! I loved: 1) the color scheme of the couch and pillows, 2) the layout of the kitchen, which has oodles of storage and is set off from the living room but is at the same time open to it, 3) the close proximity of the bathroom, which is convenient both for the person cooking and any guests, 4) the easy accessibility of the washer and dryer (I assume that in a colder climate it would be relatively easy to enclose it, right?), 5) and the delightful upstairs, (lots of closet space!!), with the adjacent bathroom and lovely balcony.

Absolutely beautiful! I would love a small house like this on a few acres of land. The balcony is the icing on the cake. ❤The laundry outside is brilliant as long as you put it in a warm climate location.

The bedroom suite upstairs is amazing, great job on the kitchen bar.
Seeing the stair railings and the stairs going up so high through the kitchen "window" bothers me, though. Could you have set the stairs back so the base of them is outside the kitchen "window" while keeping the real window also at the base of the stairs?
Also, please convert that space in the back of the house into an actual laundry room. You could have the back door entering through the laundry room as well.
