    Thank you so much for this. Perfect timing for the post. I received a potted one from a friend but there is only one main stalk. It was kind of sad looking and wasn't sure what to do. I am not that familiar with the plant. But then another friend gave me a cutting from their plant and gave it to me in a glass container with water and rocks. I planned on on adding in to the pot after the roots grew longer. Now I will check to see if the existing plant can be cut and stuck directly into the soil. Love your channel and thank you for all the tips.

    I tried this with my pothos plant and about half of them rooted.The other ones rotted.I am still learning, but I have had some other trees and plants finally take off and do great.

    The problem with monstera is that it grows very fast and soon the ends become thin and lanky with smaller leaves...

      Yes, that's true. You can add a coco-pole or moss-pole that helps the plant grow with better-shaped leaves. ☘️☘️☘️
