Blackman is the king of the streets of Brooklyn, no, sorry he is the bmx street king to the 5 boroughs. HoodHappyNYC u have created a FUCKN masterpiece bmx video that truely captures and encapsulates the true essence and daily reality of a kid called Blackman livin in the hood.
Blackman i first saw in his first Animal video cameo a few years back and his riding was totally of the hook. The technical level and sheer balls of Blackmans riding is unmatched. Even Edwin and all the animal crew were shitting themselves a Blackman's bike skills in that video. They knew their time was ending and a new era in street bmx was being created in the form of Blackman.
Even then i knew as someone who had watched Edwin Delarosa blowup the bmx street scene at the age of 16, that this kid Blackman was going to be Edwin's successor. Delarosa blew up made lots of money and became a superstar in bmx. His living the west coast lifestyle now and thats nice for old man Delarosa.
But 4 me there can only be one BMX STREET SOUL BROTHER KING-BLACKMAN is that king. This kid is the real deal and if the world wasn't so fucked up Blackman would be recognised for how truly talented he is and would have the cash flow that comes with being a super star. But like Dave Chappell said when u keep ur shit too real people u pay a fuckin high price. Blackman is paying the price for being too fuckin real. Blackman u r the king of the streets.
As for all the haters talking shit on Blackman, go fuck yourselves u talent less muthafuckers, none of u bitches could survive 1 day in Blackman's world!!!!!!!!.
David Svedosh u have created an unbelievable bmx video. Blackman stole my bike at the brooklyn banks sometime in the 90s (which is why I ride fingerbikes now - peep my channel), but I got over it after I saw some of his edits and his tcu interview and realizing just how much love he had for bmx and how crazy he was at it too. But after all the hype, this was a disappointment. I was expecting 8 and half minutes of bangers, but instead I got 4 minutes of talking, 2 minutes of manuals, bench hops, beringer grinds, etc., and a few bangers, several of which he didn't even land. Blackman, I've forgiven you and learned to admire your riding, but you've changed since the supra and sk energy days. Less talk, more riding. You said it yourself. Now do it yourself.

Just watched the video again. David u captured the essence of Blackman. Ive spent thousands of hours watching Bmx video's over the years and nothing I have ever seen comes anywhere near to the quality and rhythm of your video. This is is a masterpiece. Its a really fuckin beautiful bmx video. Blackman is just mesmerising. This kid is truly one of the greatest Bmx street riders to ever have ridin a bike. Maybe just maybe Blackman is the greatest. Having watched guys like Troy McMurray one of the first guys to ever ride brakeless with 4 pegs way back in the day, to Ratboy from standard, to the original Animal crew, the scavenger crew and the Bulldog bikes crew all representing the NYC street scene. I now know for certain that Blackman is the the one and only true KING OF THE STREETS OF NYC.

Desmond this is visually the best BMX video I have ever seen. The first 4 Animal video's were revolutionary. What Bob Scerbo did was completely new. It was groundbreaking. But what you Blackman and David Svedosh have created is a whole new era in BMX street ridin video's. No one in NYC or the world is producing BMX video's at this level with this kind of quality and depth.
