It's really interesting to have this deep nostalgia for music that's meant to be scary. I wonder how many non-RE fans would find playlists like this as comforting as I do.
I grew up with the series thanks to my brother, and I always felt that the music was comforting. Save room themes are my favorites mostly because the relief I got after finding one and knowing nothing was going to try and kill me, and the excellent composition of each piece that embodies a feeling of relaxation and calmness while also evoking dread and fear of having to go back, keep exploring and face whatever was looming around the next corner.
I'm not a huge RE fan, I've played 4, some of 1 and 2, and that's about it, but I love the music from the series, and Silent Hill as well. It's the best horror ambience that isn't cheesy sounding

I dont know, but resident evil music can be horrifying and actually warm and welcoming at times. Its amazing indeed. Love this franchise, cant wait to see what they will do for dlc for village.

I struggle with insomnia, and I’ve been spread very thin over the last year. This video is something I look forward to at the end of my day when I can finally rest. I take my mind off of work and off of the drums/things I’ve been obsessing over in music. I just close my eyes and absorb the nostalgia and comfort that these songs bring to me along with the ambiance of the game. Again… thank you so much. Just… thank you.

Out of all the RE series i've ever played, code:veronica had to be the best. The atmosphere,sound,characters,boss,mini boss,story and it has the most playtime! Just imagine the amount of boss (nosferatu,alexia,alfred,steve,albert,tyrant,giant worm) qnd the map locations (prison,lab,mansion,sewers,antarctica,submarine) lists goes on! I can't wait for the remake! They save the best for last.

Contemplating life and thinking back to the horrors as a tear streams down their face and like a dam bursting, they breakdown. All the while holding a gun (the self defense gun) looking for the moment where courage takes their lives with a self inflicted gunshot to the head
