These car chases are in many ways So. Cal's new form of entertainment/ excitement (and many enjoy its lawlessness/ mayhem because deep down they really don't want peace & safety, law & order).

And its the population density that causes the increases in crime, and its the population size and density that allows for the choppers to be constantly in the air covering car chases. So there's selection bias there as well. These things happen all over the county but only LA has the weather, population density and air coverage to consistently cover them, so you think LA has more on average per capita than other places. It doesn't.
@@michaeldeaton it's similar to how Florida has like public or media access to criminal files which is why the weirdest ones are always on the news giving the "Florida man" meme but in reality, Florida actually is that messed up 😜
