Merlin: "You're not going to die..." Bradley James: "--Because -*-I'm-*- going to save you with a magic trick! Go on then Merlin s-- save him!" Colin Morgan: "...Cheers guys, thanks." My favourite exchange.
Took me a bit to figure out which part you mean but it sounds like the ongoing joke that Bradley makes in ep10 about Hunith being shot with an arrow - I absolutely loved that bit but sadly it was too long/required too much context to add here
I really need to buy my own copy of this series just for the commentaries. They sound hilarious from the clips I've seen. The timings in your video are GOLD 😂
At 2:14 they're talking about some poor fuck who's at home and actually knows the language and in pain about it but in series 4 for The Darkest Hour they use Irish words but pronounce them so painfully wrong that I didn't even know they were meant to be Irish. Like what they pronounce as Kaylix is a fuckin Cailleach (means witch), pronounced kai-leack. The last ch sound is more like the Ch sound you also hear in German than CK but that's an understandable and common mispronunciation. Dorocha (meaning dark) is pronounced with more emphasis on the dor sound, and the same Ch sound, but their mispronunciation of that was odd but like,,,, understandable. I'll never be over Cailleach being pronounced like that though, like bruh wtf
so i dont remember watching this show as whole but i used to watch this on tv so much, really loved arthur and merlin friendship and i dont think we ever got good bro-ship/friendship this good unless we count frodo from lord of the ring
My friend and I were in Sheffield shortly after I put this video together and we couldn't stop referencing it, but boy did I get winded going up and down all those hills
Yes! All the seasons have audio commentaries and I'll be making a compilation of each one (season 4 is already up cause I wasn't expecting to make this into a whole series 😅)
Oh you've hit on a topic of great contention with me, it's really upsetting that the streaming industry is slowly killing dvd extras like bloopers and audio commentaries, there are so many new shows that I'd love to have the cast and crew talk me through!
Great. I can make out Richard Wilson and Angel Coulby Antony Head plus a couple of comments from Colin and Bradley but not sure who else is commenting. Was it one if the producers I wonder.
Hi everyone. Very good and a fun video. I lov Excelent work. Keep that up. I am currently working on an fanfiction about this show and im struggeling to find a knight for my princess character. She is kind, funny, sensitive, very honest, calm, cares about everyone around her and wants them to be happy. She likes men that are calm, that is not afraid to cry in front of others, sensitive, calm, kind and are patience with her. My choose is between Lancelot, Leon, Gwaine or Percival. Who would you match her with and why? Thanks for the help and tace care.
I have all the audio commentaries. Some commentaries are excellent. The ones with the directors and producers, Tony, Colin, or Richard are intelligent, and insightful commentaries. The ones with Katie, Rupert, Angel, or Bradley are juvenile, and completely worthless. If you like constant laughing, inside jokes that are funny to 'them' but not to you, and annoying conversation that has absolutely NOTHING to do with the episode they're supposed to be commenting on, then you'll love it! Their commentaries are a complete and total waste of time.
Oh wow it's really interesting how we have the complete opposite view, I find the commentaries where everyone's all serious and talking about the facts to be quite boring, but I really like the ones where everyone's having a laugh. Sometimes they do get too off track, but my favourite moments are when they crack jokes about the episodes, it's like when I watch the show with my friends. But to each their own I suppose
Sorry for the late reply but I got these commentaries off the physical dvd boxsets. If you can't get your hands on them then I'm sure a google search will lead you to some links you can download, just don't tell the BBC 😉
“merlin” “....i love you” “good luck” IS MY FAVORITE THING EVER😭😭
"Katie suffers from amnesia"
"No Katie suffers from stupidity"
I fuckin died
Where was this?

"all the girls? morgana? one girl... who's my adopted sister!?" i actually chocked
HAHAHHA 2:52 “What does it say?” “Party, tonight. 8 o’clock. See you there.” BRUH I CANT LITERAL BEST CAST I CANT 💀
For real, I’m pissing my pants BAHAHAH
fr
hahah the timing it looks like it really said that hahah
Merlin: "You're not going to die..."
Bradley James: "--Because -*-I'm-*- going to save you with a magic trick! Go on then Merlin s-- save him!"
Colin Morgan: "...Cheers guys, thanks."
My favourite exchange.
I miss this show, it really balanced out drama/darkness and humour quite well
Yes! I love watching the humour but the drama is what keeps me coming back to the show
:')
Richard as he (on-screen) takes a sword from Uther: 'Ah Sheffield Steel'
I CAN'T WITH THIS MAN EVERYTHING HE SAYS IS GOLD 3:28
1:24 The crew in the background! 2:28 The lack of neckerchief is crazy.
Colin's collarbones are a public health hazard - they need to be covered.
love this! Though you forgot the best one:
Katie: Come on, it's not too late!
Bradley: Merlin, I love you!
Or something like that
Took me a bit to figure out which part you mean but it sounds like the ongoing joke that Bradley makes in ep10 about Hunith being shot with an arrow - I absolutely loved that bit but sadly it was too long/required too much context to add here
@@leondegrance wow, thanks for going to all that effort! Can't wait to see another one of these types of videos!
this is such a wonderful little dose of nostalgia! comedy peaked with the s1 commentaries i swear
They were so chaotic back then, now that I'm rewatching the S2 commentaries I miss the vibe of S1
1:43 "Ealdor lies beyond the M25" 💀💀
WE WILL NEVER DIE!!! these were SO FUN please keep posting them!!
Thank you! I plan on it :D
the legendary fandom lives on and it's amazing to see.
Merlin had the best commentaries!
The cast have no right being as funny and genuine as they are
Brings back good memories of watching the eps with commentaries from my box sets 🤣 Merlin fandom still thriving!
Yes! I still remember when I first watched these and had no idea who Colin was cause he sounded so different 😂
1:57 Basically what Arthur said in his head 🤣

this is perfect i love the cast haha
They're great, you can really see each of their characters in them
so i dont remember watching this show as whole but i used to watch this on tv so much, really loved arthur and merlin friendship and i dont think we ever got good bro-ship/friendship this good unless we count frodo from lord of the ring
They went from hating each other to willing to die for each other so fast, there's really nothing like it
"Ah, Sheffield Steel!" As a Sheffield girl, I like that.
My friend and I were in Sheffield shortly after I put this video together and we couldn't stop referencing it, but boy did I get winded going up and down all those hills
@@leondegrance Yeah, Sheffield is a bit like Hong Kong. Hilly AF. First tip for Sheffield visitors: Where sturdy sensible shoes.
If I see Joe Dempsie die ONE MORE TIME I am going to lose it, I cannot handle this man and his emotional death scenes
(love this, by the way)
I haven't seen anything else he's in but I like the idea that he's been designated as The Guy Who Dies Dramatically
don't worry, he lives in GOT, even though the ending made me not want to. lol.
please do more of these
Planning on doing all the seasons eventually!
Please do more. This is so amazing & the source of serotonin!
Wow, thank you. I love this
Very glad to hear :D
I love them

AHhhhh Sheffield Steel

😂😂😂😂 how so accurate
Great. I can make out Richard Wilson and Angel Coulby Antony Head plus a couple of comments from Colin and Bradley but not sure who else is commenting. Was it one if the producers I wonder.
Yes! If you don't recognise a voice it's probably a producer (Johnny Capps/Julian Murphy) or a director (Jeremy Webb/Ed Fraiman)
Katie’s in there also!
3:16 wait a minute, what episode is this? I can't remember that scene.
S1 ep8 - The Beginning of the End! It's when Arthur's on his way to break Mordred out of the cells
1:25 who says that? I cant tell
It's producer and co-creator Johnny Capps!
