Hmmm, I would reach out to Tune on that: I’m sure they would be happy to answer your questions and go over your concerns: www.tuneoutdoor.com/. Great people over there. Good luck with your journey!

Good, simple video. Why did you pick the Tune vs other overland truck campers?

Well, I liked the lightweight design, queen bed over the cab, and the customization. Great company to work with as well. Are you thinking about getting one?

I am, just a little pricey.

I really like your new camper, im driving the tacoma double cab 6' bed ,im hoping the total weight is correct just over 300lbs. There is another video out that after the scale weight before and after the install was 500lbs. On a chevy colarado,im sceptical with that much weight on a tacoma, thats my only concern

According to Tune: Built from T-slot aluminum extrusion and composite corner sections, the M1 weighs in at only 360 pounds for the mid-size version and 450 pounds for the full-size. I believe ours is the mid-size and we haven’t had any issues at all with the suspension. This is an awesome camper and we love it. I think one of the things that sets it apart from other campers is that the sides of lower portion over the truck bed fully open up and there is unlimited areas for hanging gear. I highly recommend. The owners are fantastic.
