He definitely has more potential than Nishikori, with his good net game and some flashes of variety. Plus he's tall, almost on that magical range of height, 6'1 to 6'3, that kept the balance of movement and power for the big four
With that being said, watching Kei play is more amazing, his ball placement is godly. He shouldn't be winning being short but he somehow manages with pure hustle
Mike Ni he made the semis of U.S. could've taken the title if he was more determined I think. Obviously it's easier said than done but he really could've won with more willpower
Well done, Jung Hyun. I think his name definitely should be revised to "Hyun Jung", not "Hyeon Chung".. "Hyun Jung" is much easier for us to read and more accurate to pronounce. I mean he's not Chinese (usually, Chinese use 'Chung' last name). It's one way to pay the respect for the guy is at least pronounce his name correctly. Please revise your name to "HYUN JUNG".
Chung is going to be a superstar in the future. He just won the NextGen trophy and beat all the favorites without losing a match. He's going to be the First Asian male (not American Michael Chang) from Asia to win grand slams. You heard it here first.
I really believe he has that potential. He has played at a very high level against players such as Nadal, Nishikori, Dimitrov and Wawrinka but just missed that little bit extra needed to win the matches. I think it is now coming to him with experience. As long as he stays fit, I think he is going to surprise some people in 2018.
I said it in my mind first, after watching his Barcelona match vs. Nadal. So if anyone comes here and finds out you were the first, they will also see this comment. Ha.
Chung has bright future.humble hard-working young gun from korea.excellent ground stroke.need more valley skill.
Watch this after Chung won ATP NextGen Finals 2017! Great since always :)
chung's got some great potential
here we go. AO QF

Wow, three close sets with Stan the Man..had promise then.
let's go Chung!!
better than nishikori
Kei's seems to be not at his 100% anymore, maybe getting older plus injury, Chung definitely will surpass him.
