I saw Ben about 6 months ago in March and let me tell you, he was phenomenal. His movements were so controlled and his voice was so glorious. Definitely improved from this video (not that he was horrible in this one haha). Ali is great in this video. Jay is....jay once again. Haven’t seen him live so i’m not sure how to feel about him. Other than that I think this is probably one of my favorite casts.
Watching this now just makes me appreciate Ben so much, and his chemistry with Ali is amazing, this is such a good final lair and the vocals and acting are great! Thx for sharing.
saw been just a few days ago (august 21,2022) and i can tell you there was no better aspect of the show than him. he embodied everything the actor playing the phantom should be. because of him, i understand why the phantom gets the final bow

@@scotthamp384 that’s a common voice type for men, especially at a young age. If we were to be technical, guys like Ramin Karimloo, Ben Crawford, and John Owens Jones are all baritones, but they have no problem jumping into that higher range. That also comes from years and years of vocal training. And I’d honestly say Ben is more of a baritone than both of those guys, he has a very rich sounding lower range.

Same! I think his voice is nice, but I’m not too sure I like his voice as raoul.

@@scotthamp384 that’s because he has a lot of range. He can sing comfortably in a tenor range but his natural singing voice seems to be more baritone.

The dude who plays the phantom here is manipulating his voice to be too deep. The phantom had those light pitches this one doesn't.
It's his style and well, it suits him. So for me it's fine. This phantom is too formal and it's okay lol
