HUGE thank you for covering tea time! You are probably the first to do so for the Jubilee. Glad it is still a thing and the food looks fantastic. I have always had the impression that Carnival was sort of hiding the fact tea time even exists given the odd placement in their app. I'd bet most people don't even know about it.
I don't think they realize they hid it, but yes, I agree that few people know about it. I didn't mention or show the finger sandwiches that I assume are still served (I didn't actually have time to attend the tea time I showed, I just did a drive-by). I'm also glad it's still around! Thanks for watching!
I think ships should give everyone disposable thin plastic gloves before you enter the buffet. This way no one touches anything with their hands and sometimes filthy I might add. Wash your hands people.
Very nice coverage! Thank you! On the other Carnival ships that I have been on, I was able to bring toppings from other food options to the Pizza place, and they threw it on my pizza (made-to-order) for me. I wonder if they still do that here? Also, do you know if the sandwich place has Rueben's?
It's not impossible but it's harder to make requests on the Excel class ships because of how far the glass partition goes. I've never tried to do that... but I will now! They sadly do not have a Reuben at the sandwich place.
I tried to get coffee at tea time on my last cruise and was told no by the crew member. She said this is teatime and was too focused on trying to make me buy the up charge tea. I will definitely try again on my next cruise. I understand they are busy but they should not say coffee is available if it’s not.
That's a bummer. It sounds like you got unlucky and had a server who didn't know what they were doing yet. We usually get tea but have been successful at getting coffee when we wanted it. Now I'm going to have to order coffee at Tea Time on my next cruise as a test lol.
Mine is the Bourbon Brown Sugar. Sweet Baby Rays is my favorite store bbq and Guy's Bourbon Brown Sugar is very close to that. @husbandofalltrades , what's your favorite? Oh! and it's worth mentioning that they have a different set of bbq sauces at dinner. I don't recall what they are or which my favorite would be even if I knew the names of those.
I'm so glad they still have tea time
Me too! :)

@@laurenofalltrades great choices! Love Sweet Baby Rays!
Forgot to mention that our fave is both the Memphis and the Carolina!
@@themcraeadventures Carolina is my favorite too! Sometimes I'll mix it with a bit of Memphis or bourbon brown sugar.
@@HusbandOfAllTrades always knew you both were our kind of people!
Dang why not show what you actually ate and a review
