Not even kidding, Snowboard Kids 2 is my all-time favorite N64 game. Not Zelda, not Mario, not even Smash. This game is an absolute masterpiece that has sadly never been replicated since.
Seriously, as a musician I'm just as inspired by Snowboard Kids 2 music as I am by most artists. Good music goes beyond genres and settings, as this rock/metal adaptation proves. The composers who wrote this music are great. Awesome translation into other styles, btw.

I can't even use enough words to describe the way I felt when I heard Sunny Mountain being blasted hard rock style. Not to mention Starlight Highway had me on the brink of jumping out the window and trying to fly because it had me that pumped. That was some serious shredding! Never heard of this game, but your rendition just gave me chills. So wonderfully melodic. It's kinda reminiscent of the Nights: Into Dreams soundtrack. I recommend checking that one out. I'd love very much to hear you tackle some of those tracks. Especially in a medley.

When I heard your Snowboard Kids medley, I knew you would make one for Snowboard Kids 2, and while you do play beautiful music that brings life back to my balls, it bothers me slightly that you prefer a thicker, more full metal experience. I'm a fan of power metal, not the lyrics, but the swift and clean guitar work. I wish your music was more clean and not so heavy either, but this is of course your sound which defines you. I'm glad you take the time to make this music in the first place because we seriously need instrumental adaptations of older music so that kids born today won't see older music as bleeps and bloops. The majority of people can't feel the essence of music which is why rap is doing so well.

Starlight Highway was the hardest for me to recognize because I'm so used to it being interrupted by the constant sounds of rocket engines.
I used to skip school when I was young just to play this game... but its not until I'm older that I realize how bomb the in-game music was.
I used to play this with my great grandfather before he passed. I keep the ghost timer up for him and never beat it. He is there in spirit with me.
One thing (aside from the obvious) that makes your covers so good is that you always look like you're having the time of your life.
