- We visit Volusia Speedway for some Saturday night dirt racing under the lights. We tour the racetrack to check out all of the details, including the pit area.
We have a PO BOX if anyone would like to send us snail mail:

I spent my Saturday nights as a teenager at the dirt track in Lancaster, South Carolina - still hosting events to this day. Loved late models but super stock was my favorite. Very competitive plus any hijinks that happened on the track spilled over into the pits afterwards!
I love the intimacy of the small tracks and the dirt racing seems to bring out the emotions of the drivers.
You definitely need to come back to Volusia during Daytona Speedweeks. When the World of Outlaws sprintcars are on the track sharing with the UMP Dirt Modifieds (includes kenny wallace & ken schrader).
We'll definitely be back!
Duuuude! leeeet's go! those cars man, that speed hehehe...awesome video as always, thank you guys
Our pleasure!
Great vid! I've been into dirt racing a lot recently cause how good the races can get depending on track conditions. I haven't been to Volusia Speedway yet I always pass it on the way to Daytona. When I was a kid my parents would always take me to the dirt track in Ocala (Bubba raceway/ Ocala Speedway) Now I just go to the track once maybe twice a year. I mainly go during Speedweeks/Winter Nationals to see the Lucas Oil Late Model dirt series, and due to East Bay Raceway Park closing after this season Ocala will have 5 Lucas oil late model races early February.
We haven't been to Ocala/Bubba yet, but it's been on the list. I always liked how the dirt plays into the race depending on how wet or dry the track gets.
@@ViewFromTheCheapSeats I'd suggest going during Speedweeks/ Winter nationals. One week they got the lucas oil late models and the next they normally have the USAC Sprint cars which are the non-wing sprints. Its more expensive for tickets to get into these races but its fun watching the touring series go around Ocala cause of its unique shape. The race i went to for the lucas series this year the track was wide open, normally its a single file race but with the track work they did the track had more lanes but on the next night the top never came in probably cause of the amount of cautions that race had. I'm interested to see how Ocala will hold up next year with them adding more races for the lucas oil series!
@@irocus5753 Thanks for the info!
Weird, I watched "The Final Destination" the other day. Glad to see y'all made it out ok. :)
We lived...for now!
Interesting.
Very!
If you ever want to come check out New Smyrna Speedway let me know. I’m an official there.
We've been to New Smyrna a bunch over the years. We wanted to get out there a couple of weeks ago, but the races were rained out.
Any chance for some more MLB videos in the near future?
Maybe! I'd like to get back to some games.
