Study says obesity and inactivity is the main cause of type two diabetes. Fast food was around when I was growing up. But so was street football, street foot racing, bicycle riding, jumping ramps, break dancing, swimming pools at summer break. Not being able to go outside and play was a punishment, when I was coming up. Look outside today, you see any kids out there playing?

For such a time as this, God has raised up this young man. I'm about six times his age and still learning through him. It's so plain the numerous ways in which those people have tried and are still trying to get rid of the Black race. Any place that will let you super-size anything for a few pennies should be avoided. Instead, take your money, buy some rice, cook a pot of beans with some meat in it, some vegetables and feed your family for a few days with this. Buy bags of apples, cook some for breakfast with some toast, and a bowl of hot cereal. Remember what they are trying to do to us. WE ARE GOD'S CHOSEN. I was just in Montgomery Alabama to visit family. And I realized that there were no healthy restaurants, barely any gyms, barely any walking parks, no Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s and non of the restaurants had seltzer water. So when we talk about generational diabetes in the black community. We have to talk about generational eating habits, local healthy food choices, accessibility to exercise options (even if it’s just 2k steps a day). Even in major cities, what are the healthy options most bodegas offer for the community?
