0:00 - Stealth 2:37 - Control 3:42 - Anticipation 4:10 - Assault intro 4:12 - Assault I made timestomps if you want to listen to specific parts of this great soundtrack.
+CrazyCroatian My words exactly. Each version has their own style. I would be disappointed in them if they just made GMG be the track. And in Simon too, cuz I know he would be able to do stuff like this to the track
While the original is really good, I prefer this one in PAYDAY 2 because it fits the "adrenaline" genre more, and the original in PAYDAY 1 simply because the first game was taking a more strategic approach.
I love how the little chirps in the beginning fade into the background and resemble the ticking of a clock hand. Really builds the intensity for the next stages of the track.
I really love the original, It has that amazing classic feel to it and before Gun Metal Grey 2015 came out that was the one I used to listen to all the time when Heisting. I however especially like the new version now as it has a more upbeat and intense feel to it. The original is amazing, don't get me wrong, I love it, but I like the 2015 version a little more because it gives me that intense feeling. :)
this is easily one of the best tracks in the game the beat is literally on point, and fits every loud heist in the game the stealth track is nice to listen to as well, as it's funky and quiet enough to not be a large distraction this track fits payday 2's style of music overall: good and rough beats, very mechanical sounds, and loops flawlessly. this, hot pursuit, kicking ass and taking names, dead man's hand, and death wish all have very good loud tracks, but it's this one and dead man's hand that take the loud, and the stealth. good job simon
171videoman why is this shit in john wick chronicles? why didnt they ask simon for some new music for it instead of this recycle IN THE FIRST MISSION how fitting actually since payday the heists first mission first world bank uses gun metal grey
Year old comment, but idc. Drums now happen at the end of the police wave, instead of the beginning right?. A good little mix up to the song imo if so.
+Big Nigga On A Scooter While Drinking Capri-Sun MAN I ONLY LISTEN TO REAL MUSIC I HATE THAT WUB SHIT FUCK DUBSTEP REAL MUSIC !!!! I AM SO SPECIAL AND DIFFERENT YOU GUYS!! sorry i had to do it! :D
I like this a lot more just because it has a lot of gut and raw force to it. I enjoy the Heat likeness of the original don't get me wrong, but all of the atmospherics and sweeps in the background of this track is what makes it soar.
I like GMG 2015, but nothing will beat the original, in my opinion. The drop, combined with the drums, just makes for a better adrenaline rush for me. Will always remember the times it dropped when running through the lobby in PD:TH, lol.
I don't actually mind having both original and 2015 versions, But the best decision woulda be if simon composed of the tracks , like that - first version picks randomly, then it plays, assault starts, this one version still plays, then when assault comes to end different version would start and by circle like that
i feel like both are great in their own aspects. 2015 gun metal gray fits the fast paced gameplay of payday 2, while the original fits the slower and more careful gameplay. either way, both are fantastic
ᅚᅚᅚᅚᅚᅚ The transition is basically just a BANG and fully loaded epic win has a very weird audio on the video so I didn't change the volume when it cycled on to this.
I think that, in terms of storyline, Payday: The Heist is a prequel of Payday 2. In Payday 2, we see smaller heists (when it first got released), while in The Heist there are all big big heists (for example First World Bank here). I think that the story finishes with No Mercy heist, and here L4D starts.
+Wolfrost There's a lot of holes in that theory. When you first enter your safehouse, Bain will say that he's flown you to D.C. because of the good work the gang's done so far. If PAYDAY 2 was the first, where did Matt (Heat Street antagonist) come from? Why would the gang desert a load of members and abandon contractors?
How do you already have the track showing up in your game files? I have every heist and the soundtracks bought but it always takes ages for new tracks to show up.
All of Simon's songs absolutely clear Gustavo's I'm sorry.. So much flavor put into each heist. This new guy just makes a random dubstep beat and pastes it over top of a random heist.
Curious question: Where did you find this in the Payday 2 files? I have hunted all over the place and don't see it. Checked to where the other songs were, and they don't have this song there. Checked to see if it had it's own folder, and it doesn't. What file location specifically did u go under to find this?

I had a drill break down PERFECTLY timed with the beat of this song.
...I don't care that i failed, I live for those moments.
Oh, and Wolf, stay off the dancefloor
You brought drills ?
C'mon babe
the stealth fits in almost all heists,so nice!
Agreed
Hello Asuka

I'm using all 12 of my brain cells trying to figure out what the hell you're saying

nice grammar dude
The same way this was one of the best tracks in PAYDAY:The Heist this is now the best track in PAYDAY 2
Until you buy the payday the heist soundtrack and access the original for ingame.
Bufa7777 uh I already have
hot pursuit sucks
***** deal with it skrub
***** ohh nooo ive been effected
While the original is really good, I prefer this one in PAYDAY 2 because it fits the "adrenaline" genre more, and the original in PAYDAY 1 simply because the first game was taking a more strategic approach.
Funkiest stealth music ever. Only reason it was possible for me to stealth First World Bank no silencer no ECM, at level 30. Feels good man
+Lucas Ho do overdrill , *maybe* can you say easy again ?
i did it 1 attempt ... and yes its easy if you have GOOD team but ... in my version ... one of my crew.... Disconnect T_T in secure money part
That Not Fun !!! everytime make my heart broke im afraid i will disconnect -_- and my laptop is overhating
overdrill is nice and pretty easy but with some good teammates, that dont know how to activate it even after saying how to do it 30 times
You guys talking about overdrill? it's easy af even on death sentence, it's just boring.
Prefer original but this fits 2's style better
Literally nobody has said it as well as you have. But I prefer the second one more. Just personal preference, y'know? Lord Forbid I have an opinion.
+Berry Box didn't expect to see you here
Game Addict Penguin COMRADE, IT HAS BEEN TOO LONG
Original heisters time to rob again.
I still like the original breach of security more!
5:20 I don't know why, but that drop is fucking awesome.
Bain: Give 'em hell!
*dank drop ensues as police assault engages*
It certainly is erection inducing
i agree with this statement. i belive that there is not a single living being in this infinitely large universe that wouldn't find this drop amusing
really glad that this heist is back
and both PD:TH and Payday 2 versions of this song are great, were all entilted to opinions. Especially in music
Our Lord, Simon made this 10x better
@@iicustodianlaw yeahh
2:37-when you realize a cloaker, and half the fucking army is behind you
2:39 i got spooked
That's how it feels when the alarm goes off in first world bank
I love that this song seems to pay homage to the song that plays during the start of the bank robbery in Heat, that repeating beat is so similar
The original one is even more of an homage to Heat
I love how the little chirps in the beginning fade into the background and resemble the ticking of a clock hand. Really builds the intensity for the next stages of the track.
POV: You and your friends are stealing some gum from the store
Most iconic payday soundtrack for most iconic heist in franchise ever
I just recently started playing this game and gave me one of the most memorable gunfights I had in years !
Payday 2 it's full of intense and Unique gunfights
I really love the original, It has that amazing classic feel to it and before Gun Metal Grey 2015 came out that was the one I used to listen to all the time when Heisting.

I can hear aparty going on in there, are you sure I can go in?
@@tentacledood5784 I don't think so. "Knock knock. Who's there? Another police assault, and it's coming in 20 seconds!"

ive seen you before
I wouldn't call this a rough beat, but it fits because it's not.
Unlike the PD:TH version, where it fits because it's got a rough beat.
I rather the Infinite Ammo soundtrack
Original one is better, but this lives up to its name.
+Dario Davide Yeah.
A remix of the original, made to fit the rush in PAYDAY 2.
this is so good.
btw you can actually hear the difference between the Payday: The Heist and Payday 2 Soundtrack in general
Payday has more grit to it while payday 2 has more dubstep. I like them both in general lol.
i think both tracks fit their respective games, and match their feel. and it should stay that way
Perfect music to listen to for 50 minutes while fending off endless waves of Death Sentence cops
Try doing 1 hour of big oil
@@Quixium I actually already have dsod big oil and doctor fantastic, as well as overdrill, so I’m good!!
Where's the drums?
*Isn't that one of the best things about the original?*
+MrMaros0 ... Wouldn't it be better if they put it in *earlier?*
***** Sigh, I wish it was.
Well, then i have to wait for a remix.
Not much you can do about it.

Yes indeed! 🥁🥁🤬
sounds like the old classic HEAT
Both renditions of Gun Metal Grey did.
The transfer from stealth to control genuinely scared the fuck out of me
fun fact: the control phase is designed so that at 3:13 the cops will arrive on first world bank
This is way better than the original. It sounds more adrenaline rushing than the original. Simon Viklund has delievered again :D

the music that plays when the test starts

Makes the original look tame by comparison
Definitely in the top 5 payday tracks
let's all be real both versions are great

///ORIGINAL COMMENT IN PROGRESS///
Please someone tells the developers that dubstep and first person shooter are good together!!!!
I don't think it's as good as the original. But it sure has grown on me. Especially the stealth section.
I wonder what their going to do with the diamond from PD:TH. Breach 3.0?
do other people think people only do stealth for the extra payout/infamy/whatever or is that just me

Ricky Romero- toulouse remix?
My last Year.....
Anyone else think this sounds like the bank robbery theme from the movie Heat?
yeah, its based off that. So was the first one
Sounds a lot like Golden Grin Casino's theme but I guess GGC is more or less a remix of GMG.
AM I the only one that thinks this one is better than the original? .-.
why dont they just use c4 for the first part
this one is better than original
