This game was not released in North America or in Europe. INTV Corp. made games for the Intellivision, but they wanted to make games for other video game systems as well. Curse was going to be their first game that wasn't released on the Intellivision. However, INTV Corp. went bankrupt in 1990, so the North American release was cancelled. In 1991, INTV made Monster Truck Rally on the NES, which was their last game before shutting down.
A somewhat average early shooter for the Genesis. Not awful but kinda short and basic compared to what was in store for the system in the future. Nice tunes tho.
Dude, what is the frame rate here, 15? This probably the most choppy running shmup on the sega genesis. It's still a decent early genesis title but the choppy-ness really brings this 1 down for me.

Who a company release a game 1 year after falling into bankruptcy???
That boss at the end of stage 5 sheesh... I surprise kids didn't have nightmares
As if the cover art for this game didn't already...
Thunder Force VI also have an eroguro-esque final boss.
Short game, simple graphics(it's from '89, after all), but good music!
some nice music from a nice game with nice stages.
Fantastic music
thanks for this longplay, i never could beat this game as it's too hard for me
Musics better than I remember it. That final boss. Wicked design.
TOTAL SCORE: 7,459,300 POINTS!
I actually bought this full price back in the day. It was pretty good but piss-easy.

ya un air d'insector x megadrive
that day , when u realise that u wasting money for a puny shoot them up game that only got 17 minutes gameplay...
I agree but what a wonderful 17 minutes!!!
Relax.
Only if you were good enough, as consoles back then didn't have save states. You had to master the game to beat it in 17 minutes back then.
For a 1989 release it’s a decent shooter for what it is
👍👍👍👍
The game's cover art spoiled the final boss!
Sorry, but this game just isn't weird enough for me.
