Was looking for a quick review about this game and I'm glad I found this one; most vids are pretty long and I prefer it to be short and sweet. Subbed, thanks for the vid!
From someone who enjoyed the game as a kid, DS2 is good and is *sill* good to the point that I don't even bother to stop playing it even in 2024. I'm playing the game with the Broken World add-on btw. Also, the mods made me loved the game even more. Starting from simple modifiers like the mods that only added few new spells or races (enemy monsters included) to the ones that overhauled the entire game like Aranna Legacy, the Chibi Anime mod or New Balance mod. I remember investing countless times scouring through the game's community, binge downloaded any available mods there and accidentally turned the game into a whacky crazy mess. As of now, I'm blasting the game with the mod that allow me to play DS1 in DS2 engine, unique experience though. Thanks man, for making a Dungeon Siege content. Looking forward to see this channel grow huge.
I'd categorize the story in a "not bad" kind of tier, slightly better than it's prequel. Though I know some people will find the plot kinda generic. On a side note, the casts in DS2 here have more personality than in DS1.
Really liked the game back then. Even to this day the animations look lovely but what is even better and hold up to today's standards and is rarely found are close to none loading screens once you're in the game. If you enter a dungeon, a cave, a cellar, a house or whatever, you're not "teleported" to it in a seperate instance. All these locations exist within the world and this increases immersion. Remember dungeons in D3 or D4? You enter a basement under a small house and then you have this huuuge dungeon that really feels like one of the many dungeons you've seen before but only with a basement texture and flavour. Lore and ingame universe-wise, it doesn't make any sense. I hope to see someday a modern ARPG like DS2 that offers similar immersion and get rid of loading screens and teleports to locations that are adjacent and shouldn't require loading screens at all.
Yipii Sale on steam its like 1euro and 3rd game they dont sell"happy for that,its actually not a 3rd game only called ds3) Its alot of problems always(often enough i have noticed w older games on win11 2024 to get them working resolution n other stuff) How its w this game i dont know(i know that i read somewhere on reddit that they rec that not get this on steam?? Why i cant say..) Thanks 5 this video..im in a classic gaming mood today(always on weekends n last week it was Mass effect series so this its Dungeon Siege 2,will skip 1st game n 3rd due to 1st has not aged well n 3rd is not a Dungeon Siege game at all..

If someone remasters this game so its playable with good resolution he will make alot of money
How's the story? That's what usually gets me into games like this. It looks like it'd be up my alley but not without a compelling plot.
It's good, but nothing too special. The Gameplay is more the highlight.
