Apollo is our 11-year-old, pure-bred Friesian he is a good horse for a beginner rider. He has a lovely collected canter and is a great farter. He is herd leader over Farouk who is a pure-bred Arabian horse, Farouk is 9 years old and loves galloping and is a good endurance horse. He is the Grandson of the famous Marwan Al Shaqab and then there is Princess Bella a Four-Year Old pure-bred Andalusian filly her speciality is bucking and jumping for joy.
I don't use this word often, but "magnificent" is the only word that accurately describes the gorgeous, regal, Apollo. Positively magnificent.❤
They seem to be like the Royalty of the Equine World. Truly MAGNIFICENT animals.

I never knew Horses did fetching, I thought only dogs and very exceptional cats do that.

I watched a dog and horse play tag one time. I thought it was so fascinating. The dog would approach from the back and nip the horse's leg then he would turn around and ran back to the barn and hide behind the door. The horse in turn would chase the dog into the barn but not behind the door. Then the horse would head back to feed on the grass/hay on the front of the fence away from the barn. They did this for a long time. I watched for about 15 minutes. It was precious. I could tell they were being gentle with each other.

As an artist, Friesians are my favorite horse breed, and I can see why the movie industry favors them. They're so gallant, elegant, yet strong and sturdy. Magnificent creatures, they are!
