Animal Flow is based on the book Animal Farm. Ren is dressed like the main character from A Clockwark Orange in the white suit and cane. The words on the whiteboard at the beginning are the Rules for Animals from the book Animal Farm. There is an acoustic version of this with Ren on a bus; it is amazing too.
A minor correction....the Animal Flow video is based on Animal Farm. Ren said that idea was added for the video, but wasn't the original intent of the song.
A "one take" doesn't mean done in a single try, although that was the original meaning. "One take" has evolved to mean done in a single uninterrupted shot, and no longer has anything to do with how many tries it took to get perfect (this used to be called a "single shot" or "single take".) Ren accomplishes these by practicing for weeks in advance so there will be no mistakes (because at the end if the door sticks as he's going outside, everyone has to start over from the beginning). He then shoots the entire thing between 15-20 times on average and chooses the best take. I'm a filmmaker. This is INCREDIBLY hard. Some, like Money Game Pt. 1, took 186 tries and 6 days to get right. Some, like HI REN, took only 4 tries, before the landlord discovered them and tossed them out of the building.

Although the style and bars are completely different it’s another bragadoccious one and where they kidnap Joe who is tied up in Animal Flow. He has an acoustic version of this too. As other have said, you will literally have about 3 years of reacting if only doing one track a week. Unlike most artists, there’s not a track he’s put out that you won’t end up wanting to react to - even going back to the fun stuff he did as a teenager, trust me, he was hella talented even back then. Then you’ll have his bad stuff with The Big Push and his earlier band Trick the Fox, then his collabs with awesome artists like Chinchilla and Sam Tompkins, Eden Nash and Liv Sangster and so many others - it’s literally a back catalogue of maybe 150+ tracks to get through, and he’s starting to drop new stuff again after a few months off, so you might never run out of content to have a regular Rens-day reaction :)
But I think you need to see him sing sing, before picking another rap track (and this was rap light compared to his rap rap) - who his latest Back on 74/Message in a bottle will show his singing chops. Then maybe dip into a serious emotional one with Chalk Outlines?
Music video made in a friends flat, with friends and friends of friends being the extras, savaging plants from around the city to decorate the flat into a “jungle”, one great camera man, a car headlights used to light the street outside - all done in one night, to get this awesome video at the end - how to do a lot with very little.
