I’ve been sick most of my life as well. All you have to do is read and watch movies! Been there, done that! Ren wouldn’t be who he is if he hadn’t been sick. He’s helping me make peace with my life and see value in it. I love his body of work!!!

Let me preface this with a bit of backstory: My friends and co-workers have NEVER caught me speechless, and, if given enough time to elaborate, I can explain most shit to most people. I have explained early Hitler's appeal to a disenfranchised Germany. I have explained the CIAs *everything*, and why they thought they needed to do it. Ren, however, has SOMETHING that I cannot define that separates him from everyone else. It's not his attitude or flow, both are done elsewhere, and together. It's not his pure belief in what he's saying, many artists believe their own messages. Ren is just built different in some nebulous way that I, personally, cannot find words for.
cuz he is trying to explain colors to us color-blind bunch. Perhaps we can get the jist of what he's talking about, but to fully see what he sees... dang

As it all goes v v wrong, the pigs start walking on 2 legs & becoming more abusive & human in their behaviour: & the animals reading the manifesto again, see that the line is now altered, to: "Some animals are more equal than others".

The video may well be animal farm references but Ren confirmed in interview that the song lyrics weren’t written with animal farm or any deep meanings whatsoever. It was just a purely flexing type track.
You didn't catch the references to Animal Farm by George Orwell. He also had references to Kubricks Clockwork orange and the Shining, and then there was even a reference to Willy Wonka, from Charlie and Chocolate factory.
The writing on the whiteboard in the opening left to right pan from Ren's face is from George Orwell's Animal farm.
At the top you'll see it says "4 legs good, 2 legs bad“ and then right at the bottom it says "All animals are created equal"

Some people have said the message is muddied, but it''s easy to get several interpretations out of it. I understand the Animal Farm themes, but without the video it feels more like a man at war with himself. There is constant reference to self destructive behavior, most obviously cannibalism, and I just took it as a indicative of the dark places Ren has been to mentally in the past. After all, the pain and resulting psychosis were eating at him for a while.

This is just my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt. I think this song is one act in a much larger collection of music...an opera for a lack of a better term...at least with this, "Hi Ren", and "Sick Boi". The Pig Butcher character is a recurring theme in these videos, and I see it as the Dark Ren's (in terms of the dichotomy expressed in "Hi Ren) perception of the medical industry and his supposed caregivers. Up until now we've only seen the Dark Ren part of his personality shown in juxtaposition to his light side, battling with each other. I believe this is the Dark Ren personification, in full control, unmitigated by his human morality, not bifurcated with his light side in anyway. Just unchecked, raw, lizard brain, cynical darkness, being expressed in song. This is how Dark Ren sees the world. This is a portrayal of one of his manic episodes.

Just think... if an English teacher could show this video 1st.. they tell class it was a nod to the book (Animal Farm by Orwell) and then assigning the book .. how many students would actually look forward to reading. I can't remember what grade it was required reading but this would've really pulled everyone in.

Ren is in his own lane. I think some of the reasons he's so different is because his influences are so diverse. 80's, 90's and modern rap/hip hop, reggae, rock, blues and jazz. He is an amazing singer as well as a rapper.

Im 60, so I recognized it was about Orwell's, Animal Farm. Where if I remember right, two pigs decided to take over the farm telling the farmer all animals are equal, including the farmer. God, it's been so long ago but if I remember right, the Animals at the end realize how important the Farmer is to their survival and decide to embrace the farmer. It was something like that. Now how does that translate to his life today? I have no idea because Ren is Ren. Who knows what goes on in that boys mind. Im just here enjoying the ride, every single bump. Because it can be a crazy ride at times. But then again, this could be nothing but a big flex. Saying all you other rappers are just animals, but Im the farmer MFers.

“This is a soundtrack for madness” 😹 As others have commented, he pulled in Animal Farm, Kubrick, and other cinematic influences. And if you listen to the interview he just did with Justin Hawkins, Ren said if he ever gets the opportunity to act he would love to play a villain 😼 I would love to see that! I think he would be much better than Jared Leto.
But what’s also impressive is Ren’s talent as a director. The fact that he came up with the ideas for this video and was able to bring it to life with no money … and in one shot! … is incredible. In the description you can read how he did it. He borrowed his friend’s apartment and got 80 of his friends involved. Even the last scene was just backlit using car headlights, but it’s stunning.

Dope reaction as always bro. On his live Twitch stream he did the day Animal Flow was released Ren said he's putting out a Hip Hop album. He's never put out a full Hip Hop album put only singles so he said he's got that in the works then he's going back to his roots and putting out a singing album. The man is all over the place and I can't wait for anything and everything he releases!

Thank you for reacting to anything by Ren. Bisecting or dissecting Ren's brain may be too much of a challenge for normal human beings. Yes, it's Animal Farm, one of my favorite books. Many other references in this video. I would love to be inside Ren's brain, I feel a commonality with him that sometimes scares me but mostly excites and thrills me. I keep seeing the genius of Ren. I am seeing the connections of his lyrics to other written works of art in literature. Truly amazing. Ren is amazing! I also wondered about the mind of George Orwell from some of his other books. Everything Ren does is either fun, sad, outrageous, crazy, deep with meaning, or educational. Some of the music by Ren is for a much younger audience than my generation but it's still quite amazing even for my esthetics and preference in music. Ren, amazing human for sure, wish he was one of my grandsons. ☺ Ren is brilliant! Never underestimate Ren.

If I remember correctly, in Animal Farm, the animals who rebel against the humans eventually start acting like the humans. So they become the thing they despised at the beginning of the book. REN is commenting on our current culture.
