@@TsubasaAnimations lmao same, i had more artworks in 2020 since i didn't care about making them perfect and just wanted to draw. but when 2021 came, i became more perfectionist (prolly cuz i felt insecure about great artists younger than me) which hindered me from even trying
That fleshiness, is what I want to achieve. I love the wrinkles, folds, and how he sculpts, defines forms. That's the best thing about sinix art, I think.
The clouds at 27:10 are just stunning...those bright pockets with what is basically subsurface scattering? Amazing. I would really, really love a tutorial someday on how you approach building that kind of scene, as clouds continue to elude me.
1:03:20 I was so pleasantly surprised to see sinix appreciating dylan too. His shapes are so simple yet, something about the paintings is suuuper charming
I always forget you make these videos every year, and it’s always a great surprise to see them! Really rings home how much time flies 😅😂 Cheers to creeping ever closer to 30, and smashing art goals in 2022 🥂
You decided to go for it this year and blew your own socks off. Amazing to see how much work you have accomplished in a year's time and it inspires me to do the same. Thank you for sharing this great stuff.
Loved seeing all of these, it's a welcome reminder that not everything needs to be rendered to be valuable! I would love to see a video on warm ups, what a good warm ups? How long should you warm up for? What are the benefits? ect.
I'm looking forward to seeing the video about the text or names in that boxy configuration, the part where he states "drink your malk" 39:24 cool concept for text and want to understand what he mean bu using the triangles !!
You truly inspire me. I really want to ask for some advice on how to improve, and what to study when it comes to painting and learning to draw faces better. I feel stuck most of the time; your quick anatomy tips have helped a lot, but I don't know how to develop further. As I said, your art is amazing, I just... wow
Perspective has been a big focus for me as well, but as more of a novice to drawing in general. I'm sketching in ink, prioritizing thinking through and following perspective principles and using deliberate solid lines. I have a practice of drawing an approximation of a thing I want to draw, then coming up with a few ways to improve it, drawing a new version with the notes in mind, and repeating that process a few times so that I can train my mind to see the greater forms and how all of the details fit in. I think this will help me rapidly improve my intuition and instill good habits. My hope is that I can understand form and detail incorporation to a high enough degree that anything I can understand in terms of 3D relations I can translate onto paper. My anatomy will end up a bit stiff for now but that's alright. With how rigid adhering to perspective can make things, it feels important to me to keep focusing on singular lines to communicate more nuanced shapes and keep my hand very loose. Accept that each drawing will have many mistakes and no sketchbook page will ever look aesthetic, but overall each individual drawing should feel much cleaner and naturalistic which is ultimately what seems to be important to me. But yeah, basically just following the path of Jung Gi Kim.
59:24 I think is Goldlewis Dickinson from Guilty Gear: Strive. He’s the last character in the series I’d expect to see fanart from you, but I’m very curious but your thoughts overall on the character design and visual direction of the game overall. Fantastic works this year, looking forward to more in 2022!
Hey, I have just discovered your channel, and I love it. I was wondering if you might have a tutorial video on how to do acheive that "concept art" style of painting that you do so well. This is what I have been trying to learn over the last year or so, but I sturggle with trying to keep things looking realistic while still having minimal brush strokes (I think you call it brush stroke economy). Thanks
happy new year 2022 oh man this is good i have a lot to learn maybe learning from your videos actually i'm still working on my dexterity and consistency ( so far :/ ) in short "muscle memory" and memory visualisation too :p i'm a fast learner so no issue with references (for now Lol) edit: actually i'm lazy so i'm slow
Not to put you on blast or anything but I can feel the frustration coming through drawing shoulders and the armpit. Either you're doing something wrong or I'm doing something right because we're getting the same results hahaa!
This is amazing
You're amazing!
Omg Sam-
Hello!!
@@sinixdesign you said you wanted to be productive and basically creative and yeah the leaf is very creative!
🥰🥰🥰🥰
427 illustrations is 36 drawings a month, which is more than one illustration every day for an entire year. MAD respects to your work ethic!!
True. I'm pretty sure I had like 3 artworks the whole of last year lmao.

Sinix lore enthusiast here! 24:04 Spineknuckle was supposed to be a name for a niche metal band!
That fleshiness, is what I want to achieve. I love the wrinkles, folds, and how he sculpts, defines forms. That's the best thing about sinix art, I think.
Sinix's art is just like that "Do you ever look at someone and wonder what is going on inside their head?" meme
The clouds at 27:10 are just stunning...those bright pockets with what is basically subsurface scattering? Amazing. I would really, really love a tutorial someday on how you approach building that kind of scene, as clouds continue to elude me.
Agreed the colors are just gorgeous pls sinix make a tutorial
It's incredibly validating to know that someone else draws silly characters with weird dialogue.
About to watch 1 hour and 30 minutes of the most inspiring and motivational artworks🌻
