Side pockets fit a steel water bottle like a yeti or Stanley? Are they flat pockets or have a squared off bottom? Flat pocket is going to wear like crazy with daily carry of a vacuum bottle/cup. Hard edge pushing out on the fabric. This is so close to awesome but there are some red flags for me
I wish I could post pictures in the reply. The bottom of the pocket is not flat, it's kinda gloved or mitten shaped. What i can do, when I get home about 6:30pm EST, i can take a few pictures with various bottles, and make a community post, tagging you.
Nice backpack. But it's noisy. Not stealthy at all...
Yeah, I agree. I work in a manufacturing plant, which is deafening inside. We have to wear 2 layers of hearing protection. Upon initial use, I didn't make an unusual sounds for me, but after taking the bag on vacation, the clanging on the zippers pulls was annoying. I had picked up a pack of rubber zipper covers for a couple of dollars, and that helped immensely.
heat shrink tubing is your friend
Anything tacticool is going to be less stealthy than a civvy pack in a muted colorway.
I use mine daily at the gym and work. So rugged
