Fried egg with Chinese Leek is a very simple, homey Teochew omelette dish that you may not see in restaurants, but it’s so basic that anyone can easily cook the dish at home. Chinese leek is pungent when eaten raw, but it is freshly sweet when cooked. Simply sauté the thinly sliced leek and prawns before adding into the egg mixture. This way it’s a lot more fragrant.
This simple asian style omelette made with leeks can be served with rice for lunch or dinner in a multi course meal. Ready in just 10 minutes!
