u obviously don't know about how stage works. this was kim bum soo's concert and he on the stage cannot hear clearly if he's overshadowing her or if he's being overpowered. if someone made a mistake, it wasn't kim bum soo's; it was sound engineer's, who did not control the microphone volumes appropriately.
they were both pretty much pitch-perfect. yeah, they dont sing it exactly like brian mcknight and mariah carey do.. but they are both on pitch.. and obviously, they are both really talented. ;)
u said he wrecked the climax... yeah, i do see that his voice was a little shaky at highest pitch, but not to the point of wreckage. and u also pointed out that some of the "probably inferior singers" have done a better job, please give me a link. i still believe this was a wonderful performance, considering that they haven't had time to practice together for a while like some other duet singers do.

I mean, the notes and melody were definitely in tune, but what I meant "unprepared" was that the female
mc's voice before 1998 was the best. u hav to listen to her live back then. I know how voice's crap after 1999. and no one can be better than her live performance back then.
wow the professor is pretty damn good. and of course kim bum soo (one of the few korean singers i have respect for) did a pretty okay job. but both need to work on their melisma.
they kinda lost in the end...they don't harmonize very well..and the lady was having extreme difficulty to sing those runs in her higher register.. I guess nothing beats the original

I'm Italian and big fan of MC...I think this performance is VERY VERY GOOD...she hasn'y a voice like Mariah, but a one good anyway
