Theoretically living Chopin would not even pass the pre-eliminary stage at his annual competition.

      Why do you suspect this?

CHOPIN suffered from several different types of tuberculosis and other diseases, which consequently took away large parts of his vital forces, in recitals Chopin played very weakly, because of this @@mantictac

At LAST! A performance which doesn't mess around with the tempo and keeps the strict rhythm of the Polonaise going! The piece is so much more powerful and exciting if it's played like this. Great pianist!

I was really hoping to see him in the finals. A very talented, sensitive pianist, showing a lot of expression, beautiful tone in his performances. I wish him to have a fantastic career.

Krzysztof's tones are awesome. But he could have played the Mazurka section with greater lyricism, bringing increased relief from the more muscular outer sections. I like this pianist, especially his Scherzo in B minor at the International Chopin 17th competition.
