He said that every day at noon she would bring out homemade sandwiches and snack and lemonade and sit down with the workers and have lunch with them. One of the major reasons that celebrities like the Sun Valley, Idaho area is that the locals respect their privacy when they are out eating or shopping.
Maine, USA is similar. William Defoe owns a place here, Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn own a place up here and go to a local pub. Finally, John Travolta and his late wife had a place up here, too. It seems people here are laid back and don't bother stars.
I stayed at the Starlite Motel in Vermont right beside Outdoor Theater only 15 rooms or so I stayed in the Tom Cruise Room some pictures on the wall of him and a little bit of literature about him nice place nice owner I would have stayed in the John Wayne room or Marilyn Monroe or Elvis room but thay were already taken 😂 I think it's great that she didn't alert other people to him thank you
I was working for DOJ...US Immigration...at SFO...in early 90s. It was dinnertime, no expected flights except 1 private plane. I got the task. Bo Derek, beautiful...hair way down below her knees..... I said "welcome home. Can I call out my coworkers, so they can meet you...or you dont want a crowd?" She chose anonymity. I told her that I'd wait till she got through Vustoms before announcing. I stamp her in...let her then clear Customs.....then announce "Bo Derek just left" Man, she was one pretty lady
I’ve waited on a lot of celebrities, especially singers when I worked at a super high end fine dining spot. If you want to get in their good graces, don’t ask for a photo, autograph, or any of that. Treat them like regular folk and eventually I’m fine dining they do feel like regular folk, like I don’t care who you are don’t come in 5 minutes before close 😂. Anyways the people that they are with will get curious about you by the end of the meal because you respected their space. That is your time to shine while finishing off the check. It’s even weirder when you hang out with one outside of work because out of respect ya want to keep your phone in your pocket the whole time. Just because of that I’ve actually turned down hanging out with some celebrities. Lol after dealing with people all day, some quiet time on my phone can be gold sometimes.
It would be awesome if as soon as he got off the subway and the train left the station she pulls out her phone and announces to the whole car that they just missed him.
Same thing happened to me with Ryan Gosling. Was in a Sammich shop in LA and I was staring at him because I couldn’t put my finger on who he was. One of my dads friends worked in a construction business and did some work building a pool at Sandra Bullocks house. He said that every day at noon she would bring out homemade sandwiches and snack and lemonade and sit down with the workers and have lunch with them. He said she was the kindest most down to earth woman, living life humbly and not forgetting that the “little” people are people too.
She got delivered a Mission impossible task to conceal his identity and she delivered. Loved the down low picture ahe took.
Hello Lisa are you also one of my lovely fans/supporters out there?
That’s the Tom we love
That is literally mission impossible! to not freak out when you meet him like come on seriously people everyone else would’ve been freaking out!😂😂😂
He has become the best action king isn't he.
🤘👍👍👍🤘
not even close
Hadn't seen Tom Cruise for quite a while and suddenly he's on my feed. Love his acting, and damn, this man is aging beautifully. He's going to be a stunning older man. Can't believe he's 61.
Why do sheep get so star struck there just humans lol
That's the funniest thing this man has ever said. 😂
Hello Chrissy are you also one of my lovely supporters out there?
and the whole world was busy checking their damn phone
She will never forget either 😅😅😅😅😅
Hello Wanda are you also one of my lovely supporters out there?
sounds like a cool kid

Hello KimClark are you also one of my true fans out there?
She was amazed that she was a foot taller than him.
😂😂😂😂😂😂👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
His stories however simple and normal will make you smile all the time.
One of the major reasons that celebrities like the Sun Valley, Idaho area is that the locals respect their privacy when they are out eating or shopping.
Same in Montana
This was in London
Maine, USA is similar. William Defoe owns a place here, Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn own a place up here and go to a local pub. Finally, John Travolta and his late wife had a place up here, too. It seems people here are laid back and don't bother stars.

Tom's hair always on point.
I stayed at the Starlite Motel in Vermont right beside Outdoor Theater only 15 rooms or so I stayed in the Tom Cruise Room some pictures on the wall of him and a little bit of literature about him nice place nice owner I would have stayed in the John Wayne room or Marilyn Monroe or Elvis room but thay were already taken 😂 I think it's great that she didn't alert other people to him thank you
Cute story they wrote for him to make him sound normal and humble.
I was working for DOJ...US Immigration...at SFO...in early 90s.
It was dinnertime, no expected flights except 1 private plane.
I got the task.
Bo Derek, beautiful...hair way down below her knees.....
I said "welcome home. Can I call out my coworkers, so they can meet you...or you dont want a crowd?"
She chose anonymity. I told her that I'd wait till she got through Vustoms before announcing.
I stamp her in...let her then clear Customs.....then announce "Bo Derek just left"
Man, she was one pretty lady
Tommy remembers it all!!!!!
Hello Susan are you also one of my true supporters out there?
Tom's age is finally catching up to him. I was beginning to think this man didn't age.
Right his face is face is drastically changing all of sudden
Hello there are you also one of my true supporters out there?
Wow! I was thinking how handsome he looks! Aging really well!❤
This is the best story I’ve ever heard of encountering a famous person especially because it’s told by the famous person themself
Nice encounter ❤😂🥰👍

Hello Michelle are you also one of my true supporters out there?
She most certainly will never forget that!
Sounds like Ethan Hunt on a mission 😂
It would be awesome if as soon as he got off the subway and the train left the station she pulls out her phone and announces to the whole car that they just missed him.
She understood the assignment 😂 respect
I've met actors in public places and never took pics or talked to them. I just want to let them enjoy a normal moment
Same, i find it creepy
The 14 year old is a smooth operator.
Hello are you also one of my true supporters out there?
Same thing happened to me with Ryan Gosling. Was in a Sammich shop in LA and I was staring at him because I couldn’t put my finger on who he was. Then he made eye contact with me and shook his head and pleaded with his eyes. Which I now understand because there was nothing but college girls behind the counter 😅😂 hope he remembers me for me not selling him out
I would pass out 😩😩😩
Tom Cruise is so sweet and genuine....
Oh i would have just quietly sat next to him and lost my damn mind❤always love him!
It is nice to respect their privacy like that. Great story for you and a great one for her with proof!

Legend says she is getting Christmas cakes from Tom Cruise til this day😅
I'm terrible with names. Once I met a famous actor and my mom was with me. I knew he was an actor but forgot his name. My mom started talking with him. She completely didn't know who he was. After some time he asked her if she didn't recognise him. She said no. She asked me and I said I knew he acted in some movies but forgot his name. He got pretty excited and spoke more enthusiastically with my mom. She said she didn't watch films so she didn't know him. 😅
