Why it’s not voters who choose our PMs, it’s our right-wing rags and those who own them…

  • Way too much power is afforded to those who own our newspapers…
It’s not the electorate who choose our Prime Ministers, it’s the billionaire owners of our press
And Dan Hodges of The Mail on Sunday did a beautiful job right here, of proving my point.

@Ghengiskhansmum Well I think the most watched news on the TV is BBC news with 4million viewers. The average age of BBC news viewers is 61. I put it to you these are the same older political nerds that are buying all the newspapers. Most of them are not about to change their political views anytime soon.
It is still the case that Labour's support base is limited to inner city areas whilst the Consrrvatives are supported by those in small towns and rural areas. Labour's support is 2/3rds from the immigrant community, whilst native British people are three times more likely to vote Conservative than Labour. These are the simple realities of Labour's failure to win elections.
If Labour wants to win more elections it needs more impoverished immigrants to spread out over the country into smaller towns. Its policies aimed at achieving that cause a backlash which serves the needs of the parties on the right.

Because the corruption whittles them down to only the most incompetent and intellectually dim. But then what fies that tell us about Britain politics in general?

Murdoch backed Blair because Blair had a close relationship with him but also it was obvious the Labour were going to win in 1997 and Murdoch always has to be seen to back the winning Horse.

The current Conservative Party is indistinguishable from the current Labour Party but both follow the policies of the far left, fascist WEF. Calling them tories makes them seem to be the old Conservative Party but their big government, ignore the electorate policies are more like Hitler’s Germany.

My wife and i were so happy when Labour won in '97'. At long last the woeful tories, who had sold off everything, were defeated.
However, it gradually dawned on us that this was a Labour PM and govt that wasn't for the masses but for the establishment. It's the only reason they 'let' him have power.
It was a softer Toryist govt.
People point to the min wage as a success but it has now become the wage for so many people that used to earn more. Blair was just part of the establishments plan to grab back all the concessions that unions had earned us over the years.
Blair was a tool. An infiltrator with a trojan horse that led to troyified Labour. The establishment didn't want a real Labour party getting elected again. So they took it over with a load of friends of ISrael. Its appalling.

To do this the PM would have to be head of state and have their own office. ATM the PM is the leader of the biggest party. The head of state is the useless and impotent monarchy who cannot be voted out. So step ONE end the King's position as head of state. Two reforms the voting system to introduce proportional representation, and spearately elect a PM with real power to bring together the best ideas - and WHO CAN BE VOTED OUT.

It back-fired spectacularly when the Tory members 'chose' Liz Truss.

In 1949 Albert Einstein said. “When the very rich so controlled the means of communication that it would be almost impossible for ordinary people to make informed decisions and so democracy would then be broken”.
Einstein argued that private capital “tends to become concentrated in few hands”, resulting in “an oligarchy of private capital the enormous power of which cannot be effectively checked even by a democratically organized political society”.
“Moreover, under existing conditions, private capitalists inevitably control, directly or indirectly, the main sources of information (press, radio, education).
“It is thus extremely difficult, and indeed in most cases quite impossible, for the individual citizen to come to objective conclusions and to make intelligent use of his political rights.”
