They can be very effective against newer players for sure. In the late game hovers server their main purpose in leviathan clan battles. Regular clan battles right now is majority Gerrida Spider and Dog builds which hovers have a hard time outrunning or being able to destroy before getting annihilated.
Now that things have changed in the last few months lol which hovers are the best now?? I’m using the Icarus VI right now but I’m leaning towards the VII now. What are your thoughts?
I still use both. I think they have them balanced so they both have a place depending on the build. If the cabin supports the higher top speed, probably icarus VII but if its a slower cabin or a really heavy build, you probably want to use the icarus IV.
All Omni movement parts have slow acceleration, high PS, and top speed limit. Wheels are more unpredictable in their movement and can change directions rapidly. Fuzed Icarus 7s can be more unpredictable, but when you hit them, it hurts. I don't think hovers are OP at all. I tear them apart with cannons daily. I have 6 fuzed Icarus 4s. I prefer the tonnage and durability of the 4s, mine are fuzed for acceleration

Anything with the lowest power drain. Colossus and Pegasus come to mind. Possibly finwhale but I haven't tried that one yet. Cheetah will give u more tonnage but has a higher power drains so ur acceleration won't be as good.
Thanks for the reply, I have a colossus with my 8 x icurus vii hovers but it still feels very slow and slugish.. I thought maybe the pegasus is the secret to good hover builds
If you are using 8 hovers, it may benefit your ride a bit more to use the pegasus engine as it reduces power greater if you have more movement parts on your build. Icarus IV builds generally have faster acceleration due to having less hovers on the builds. @@jcstrydom9452
hovers use to be 75km and reputation toxic players using them all these years buff and nerf try balance right but never accurate until hit 450 ps can be catch almost any fast builds but later they change buff and separate of them 350 ps heavier hover and lighter 300 90km allowing join low ps again and mix hover just fix tonnage with 75km right now almost right on spot balance it but still dominate from fuse hovers and speed. ground builds force sneak around and more range counter them
I do think hovers are decently balanced at the moment. Although they feel a bit weak against spiders and dogs, I think skill, builds, and comps is a huge part of it.
@ShockRadioGaming is not that huge anymore because camera control been added nerf sideways builds and little of front of cabin make feel weird driving around not middle of builds. give most players chose front or backwards builds
I dont think they need a hard nerf, i think the power score should be bumped up on hovers. There are too many people dragging them into low PS.
