- A teenager is in big trouble with the law after police say he pointed a green laser at sheriff’s office helicopter. The act is a felony in Florida. Video of the incident was released by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. In an edited clip, you can hear the deputies report complaints from the pilot of being blinded by the light. The boy allegedly admitted to pointing the light at the helicopter "because he was bored." Inside Edition Digital has more.

I wonder why the teen even that that in the first place even tho, pointing a laser at an aircraft is a felony 🤷
Even if he claims he didn't know that it was a police helicopter, pointing a blinding laser at a helicopter pilot, or anybody in or out of a moving vehicle is surely bound to cause an accident, or temporary, or even permanent blindness.
And doing it to someone in a moving vehicle - especially in a helicopter could get someone killed.
And he did it because he was bored.

@@John-nf7ug Honestly "being bored" is probably the most valid reason you could ever give to anything you do LOL.

Its not going to cause permanent blindness unless it's an altered Lazer light. But yeah you shouldn't point a Lazer light at a airplane or otherwise flying aircraft.
