2024 - Episode 13 - Youth Day Development Cycling Crit Race

The Nedbank Sports Trust Development Cycling Programme has been funded since 2005 by Nedbank and managed by The Sports Trust. It currently supplies bikes to and supports the training and participation of 130 cyclists from 8 under-resourced high schools and 2 development clubs from communities across the Western Cape, including the Cape Metro, Boland and West Coast regions.
Cloetesville High School recently joined the programme, and received bikes, equipment and kit at the official launch. Criterium Races took place at Killarney Racetrack in Cape Town where the youth enjoyed learning technical skills and how to race in a closed cycling circuit.
