Thanks for watching!
Looks like whoever built that thing originally had harvested every bed frame in the house to finish the project.
😢😢😢😢😊❤❤ 9:37 😢
@@49nicholson Use your words Nicholson! Lolin'
😂
The lawn chairs!
That’s wicked cool. The whole moon buggy clip had me laughing. Keep up the great work and stay safe out there.
I enjoy Sunday mornings with Merlin
That moon rover scene cracked me up 😂 As for a number for the car, I vote for lucky 7.
The ladies really made the build fun looked like pure enjoyment great job Merlin
Excellent way to spend a lazy Sunday Morning, watching Merlin and the crew work on a fun project, compared to what it was like when you picked it up, it's almost perfect.
Ren the stunningest and bravest astropup.😊
With that color of green on the body, put a 33 on it to honor Handsome Harry Gant…different racing series but he’s a legend and that Skoal Green looks so good on the Bugatti lol
And 33 rhymes with Bugatti!
& what talented wood worker too!! Still have a couple of hats (& way too many pictures, from those years, of the races! Have 1 that has the 3 green cars in crn#2 at MIS! 55 - 33 - 66, Benny & Phil Watson's & Harry !). Thanx for bringing back a wonderful memory!
Parsons! Not Watson, darned auto-corrupt!
Green paint looks like British racing green 💚. Go, go, go, Bugatti
Awesome video! Love the car.
Lots of hard work to upgrade.
Thank you for sharing 👌 😊
'Cept Merlin made it look EASY!
👍 That was a fun time! Jennifer and I got the giggles going on more than once! LOL Jennifer showed me some younger pictures of McKay she found on Facebook! OMG . Good job on the "Bugotti" 💯
Merlin. The boots on your Bugatti axles are clocked wrong. You want them at either 10 or 2 o’clock position. You have them at 12 o’clock. They can’t flex with the suspension in that position.
Moon buggy skit was funny.
Lunar dust is a big problem. It contaminates everything and it jagged dust unlike Earth dust which is smooth in comparison because of erosion. Also, moon has 1/6 gravity of earth.
Gals look like they had a great time!
That Bugatti turned out real nice. congrats Merlin.
Desiree rocks! This looks like it was so much fun. And you filmed/edited so well! Good job!
merlin in all my subs its between you and paul.realy enjoy both.
Oh my god, the moon skit was so funny, wow the car came out amazing.
Put the number 54 on it and call it Herbie's older brother. lol You should have a blast in that thing, the girls sure did.
Fantastic video brother ❤❤. I was gonna say 07 or 09 for the number. However after hearing Atomic Beaver 😂😂. That’s a winner!! 🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧
I'd say number 06 since that's the color of the pool ball. The ending was priceless.
Or 14 with a white stripe!
You should race against Emily at Flying Sparks Garage and her Bugatti
I really enjoyed this single video build. The Bugatti looks FANTABULOUS.
I still think Ettore Bugatti is looking on, & admiring your work, white to green & new pieces and parts to make the machine drive smoothly. The black & white segment was most fitting as it gave a historical element to your project. The gals racing with their helmets & smiles, that was nice too. Thanks for the video.
The moon buggy stuff is awesome. Excellent job.
Merlin, great job putting this video out. Start to finish a complete project. That's cool . The Bugatti looks great, too. Merlin, you sure have a terrific sense of the fabrication when you'rer building your projects. Thanks for sharing, and tell McCabe thanks for his part in this . Stay safe.
Amazing work on rebuilding this car! Fun watching the lady’s having some fun, keep up the great content Merlin always enjoy watching!!
You all crack me up. So damn funny but the girls are hilarious!
Hello Houston? 😆😁
Had me busten up.
Thanks for the video.
Awesome and outstanding as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you guys, good work 👍😁.
The Bugatti is turning out pretty cool. You are the king of the kit cars. Put the number for the type on the sides. 35 for example. Black numbers on a white circle.
Looks nice, Merlin! What an improvement from what it was! And the ladies had fun too! Win Win!
Great Job Merlin and Crew , love the Replica Buggetti ❤ Seeing the girls Driving and Riding was Way Cool.
I am 66 years old and I just love watching y’all❤❤❤❤❤
Great build Merlin, you always look like you are having fun at your craft! Ladies you look great race ready! 😎
Dude, you had me rollin on the floor with the moon buggy scene
oh cripes!! you guys are having too much fun, what an enjoyable video, ya have it all, great creative skills from Merlin, superb fabricating and an eye for just how to produce a top notch entertaining video. Thanks for the experience.
Great job guys. Thank you 😊
How can these get any better!?! Chuckled all the way thru (other than the lead pop! I've worked lead, decades ago, lol). The girls were, & are, a Hoot! & the skit... I'm sure it woke up 1 of the dogs!! Well done! Definitely looking forward to more of this fun, oh & that lovely green grin generator. My contribution for #'s : 13 of course, Barney Oldfield's was 999 when he started for H. Ford, Mario! but he drove # 2, 5 & 11... Good luck! & If I remember correctly, the moon rover had mesh tires, they threw a bunch of dust & pebbles! Thanx !
That little can you are melting the lead in is called a Crucible. @27:05... I had to LOL, because you are wearing shorts! @32:40... You could get some metal screen and put it in the radiator shell. And, when the USA goes back to the Moon, the best "Barn Find Will it Run" video is going to be made, with the Lunar Lander!
That thing looks like a whole lot fun to drive. The Houston thing you guys did was great LMAO. Great video.
You are correct in that they use aluminum for the ant molds. It is really neat to see. The entire thing becomes solid metal, and they dig it up, and put it on display in places like museums etc.
Simply amazing job Merlin! Amazing! Well done!
Bonjour Merlins comme Numéro le '001' irait très bien Bon courage pour la suite Bonne route a la prochaine vidéo --- Alain
At least they had helmets ! Thanks for sharing !
They actually have some pretty good slow motion videos of the moon rover which shows how well the fenders worked to keep moon dust from going all over the astronauts.
As far as a number, I'd go with 12. Just seems right like "1" and "2" in a race.
Loved the moon buggy skit! 😂😂
Love the moon buggy skit !!!😂😂
Okay Merlin, gotta bust yer chops this time. I know ya can’t see the junkyard gas tank but I thought fer sure you’d come up with some cool retro antique container for dinosaur juice.
OMG…laughing so hard at the moon buggy skit.! Great build for a fun ride.!!
Oh the adventures, liked the motorcycle helmets, thumbs up, great video
“This is scary….” Ye gods man that WHOLE THING IS SCARY! But once you work your magic on it, it will be a fun little toy. Looks to me like who ever built it got hurry up and finish-itus and took a few too many shortcuts. 👍🏼👍🏼 Merlin for the rescue!
Merlin great job on the Bugatti what a change in a cool little car .
Gotta love us Gen z fabricators, Merlin melting tire weights with an oxygen/acetylene torch right overtop of the leftover paint- thus proving that it’s obviously not that combustible. What a cool little car.
I really like the changes you did with the Moongoty. I'm going with 69 for the number and I agree with the black outline of around an inch and a white center with the number of choices being tilted like it was in motion. And from what I remember seeing these kind of vehicles as a find seafood like a 2 to 3 in strap across the hood that matches the interior. Great video and fun in the process. You guys really turned this thing around..
Really Merlin seriously what a great little bit of the Moon riding I believe they didn't need fenders what they needed was a leaf blower on four wheels. What a good show. Right on Jimmy good to see you. Put a three you the pastor in the car that's a good number
White circle with #69 in black in the circle. That way, no matter if it's wheels up or down, the number is the same!
101 for the number. One of one. Because it's unique to only the way you build things. Love your channel.
I'll say it again! I love all the vw content you offer! ✌️❤️🤘
Great run ladies
Ren needs a space helmet,
Especially living with all you space cadets. Hahahaha 😂❤
Good job on OL' Boogatcha boody.
Number 07 or 08
Crazy 8
Atomic beaver and squirrly chipmunk 🤣❤️
It's getting hot alright. Not just that torch either!
Another great video the car is turning out awesome great work.
Thank you
That was a hoot watching the ladies drive that car mademy evening. 👍👊😎
The car number should be equal to the number of cars owned! Good job guys
But he did say somewhere between 1 & 100 he’s got to be about there with model A 😂
Super cool Merlin.
Great test drive
Never seen someone look so enthusiastic about a project than Mr McKay!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
👍👍
God Bless You all and Stay Safe 🙏 Out There
I love green ! Looks a little like John Deere Green . So now it is John Bugatti now right ? Anyways beautiful job ! Thanks so much for sharing ! 😁👍
You should paint the number three on it. That was the number on Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as a race car in the beginning of the movie.
15 - Apollo 15 was the first mission that used the moon rover. Might be a good number for the moongatti
I'm thinking number 55 since ya turned 55 this year and yer making big things happen.
The moon rover had fenders because the dust is so abrasive and damaging, especially to space suits, so the fenders were intended to prevent large quantities of lunar dust from covering the astronauts and the vehicle while in use. There is gravity on the moon, just 1/6 of gravity on earth. Thanks Merlin
The Moon-gatti. :D Such a cool car. Don't see many of these on youtube. And my vote for the number is 77.
Great Video, looks like fun was had by one and all :) We didnt get a picture of the finished product though
Outstanding work, and A GREAT DAY 👍Great Content and Recovery of your Bugatti Kit
Thanx for sharing your Great knowledge of experience
Have a Great Day 👍
Great job turning the rough cut Bugatti into a road gem of a little sprinter.well done Merlin
I so enjoyed this video! Merlin, you are a wizard performing your magic as usual! Your good friends, Makay and Jimmy, are a great help when needed and step up! The Bugatti looks great and sounds better on the road! Now I'm looking forward to you finishing the Porsche! Catch you on the next. ✌️ 😊
What a great project!! It looks fantastic!! Cool little car!!!
👍
I like it, actyal real work to an end!
Merlin, the cars name after the moon river should be MOONGATTI and it should be #11 after the Apollo 11 moon landing from the year you were born. I love what you’ve done with the buggar car.
You are makin mr. B U Gatti so proud....😏....and the moonraver replica has some serious explaining how it's back on earth...🤔😬
that little loos nice cruising along the road, you worked a near miracle turning that one arounnd, great job as always Merlin, thanks for sharing
Once again Merlin, you pulled a few more rabbits out of your magic hat today. Thanks for taking us subscriber's along for the ride. Merlin the original OG of fabrication. Love the Bugatti project. Love the channel. Keep up the great work. How about # 69 in memory of the moon landing. ✌️👍🤙🤙😁😎🍀🍀🍀🍀🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🪄🪄🪄🪄🏁🏁🏁🏁.
That umbrella is to fight off those pesky solar flares and them klingons that circle uranus LMAO!!
You've become a fancy dude. You've got a Bugatti, you gotta Porsche.
Turning the BUGatti into the Loony Rover... genius! 🤣
I see you found a moon doggie too! Those are only found on the dark side of the moon.😳
Still waiting for you to do your moondance.😂
Thelma and Louise strike again.
Fenders were thin fiberglass and snapped into place. The body actually folded. There is a video on the construction you can watch. Very interesting
I'd imagine the moon buggy had fenders because if it kicked up a stone and cracked the visor of your spacesuit, you'd be having a bad day.
The moon buggy clip cracked me up lol
Hey Merlin send sleeper dude some model A wheel bearings and grease caps he could use some... love you do great job
I reckon it needs the old radiator put back in. Besides looking better you have the added bonus of a little bit more weight over the front.👍
I also reckon it needs wire spoked wheels to really do it justice...
@MerlinsOldSchoolGarage Merlin put the number 99 on it. Its a super Lucky Number.
I've been to the Historics at Laguna Seca, most of the Bugatti's are a light blue. Look like you will be having fun with yours.
Always an adventure 😀👍
Nice job!!!!
