This video and worksheet on literary elements (elements of fiction or parts of a story), including setting, characters, plot, narrator, conflict, mood, theme, and tone. Each element is defined, and an example from the story "Finding Nemo" is given. Then, learners are quizzed on examples of each element from other stories. They do not need to have read the stories to identify the literary element. This video was created by a high school teacher for ESOL students studying main stream English curriculum and standards.
This video includes subtitles in English, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese, as well as auto-translate in many languages. To view the subtitles and transcript, follow these steps:
1) Click CC to turn on subtitles.
2) Click the settings icon (to the right of CC), and choose the language you need.
3) To view the transcript, click the three dots (...) below the video and to the right. Then, click Open Transcript, and choose the language.
4) Once the transcript is open, you can copy and paste it into Word or other documents.

I'd love to be a columnist or a free-lance writer, based on life alive. Sitting in an open-air cafe to experience the bustle around me . Opinions .
I would apperciate if you could explain about poetic literally elements too such as metophor ,hyperbole...etc.
Hello, I hope I can do a lesson on these! I found a very helpful worksheet on these topics online--see if this is helpful. It has many examples on metaphor, simile, hyperbole, and personification:

Guessing the work's setting by the year the book/movie was published? That's confusing😵. So there's no chance of all this happening before 2003. The certainty is disturbing😟...

Las personas que te rodean envían mensajes a través de lo que dicen y de cómo te tratan. Los mensajes pueden ser positivos y negativos. Mensajes como “Buen trabajo” refuerzan la autoestima. Enviar mensajes positivos es un proceso recíproco. Explica por medio de una tirilla como ayudarías a Juan Marcos a reforzar su autoestima y a manejar el problema de acoso.
