Amazing reaction! System of a Down is brilliant band 😎 I remember listening to this song for the first time and I was in awe Definitely more System of a Down reactions 😊 their two albums are masterpieces
Tysm for your nice words 🫶 I absolutely loved this song, it's crazy good!! I definitely want to hear more: which songs would you from them? Thank you for exploring System of A Down on the Q Ship for the first time 🤘🎶✨
The song is about whether suicide is justified and how people will perceive you if you commit it. The title "Chop Suey" comes from the idea that it's a mix of everything. It switches quickly between different styles, like noodles into which you can throw anything-hence, Chop Suey. System of a Down is part of my holy trinity of nu-metal bands from the turn of the millennium when the genre was at its peak. For me, the other legends are Limp Bizkit and Korn. From System of a Down, I'd recommend "Aerials"-absolutely stunning lyrical masterpiece. "B.Y.O.B."-an incredibly powerful message, even more relevant today than when it was released. Finally, Serj Tankian's "Harakiri"-a somewhat overlooked track that gives insight into Serj's thinking. He's a bit of an anarchist and environmentalist, but he knows why. That's my personal favorite track. Thanks so much for the video, and I hope more nu-metal content is coming! 😁🤩👍7❤
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts, recommendations, and for your support 🥰💕 I would love to check out more System of A Down songs, please feel free to keep suggesting them! Loved having you on the Q Ship exploring System of A Down for the first time 🤘🎶✨
The melodies in their songs are what attracted me to this band a long time ago. They have a nice range of slower tempo songs too; I felt his emotion at the outro too!
System Of A Down are legendary, I used to listen to them over and over again, every single album. The band you briefly showed with a picture, Hanabie, was in its early days a cover band that covered songs by Maximum The Hormone and Maximum The Hormone are referred to by many as the Japanese System Of A Down, even though MTH have their very own style and make some crazier music. MTH recently released a music video where they re-recorded the song Shimi with the cute JPop band Atarashii Gakko. Highly recommended. And of course still BRATS 十四歳病『BRATS 14 year old disease』

We love it when bands completely ignore genre boundaries and let their creativity run wild. Bands like SOAD, Maximum the Hormone, Hanabie and BRATS (with the experimental Spiderweb) therefore have the most value for us. By the way, the singer of System of a Down, Serj Tankian, didn't just make metal. For example, he sang the song Rains of Castamere for the last season of Game of Thrones.
Hi Great Reaction , check the band experience, called: Falling in Reverse, "Prequel " ....... Ronnie is the lead singer, and he can sing everything ..All the songs are Marvel movies.. much ❤
If you’d like to delve into the topic more Epica does a thoughtful sing on the topic of suicide called Serenade of Self Destruction It explore the 3 reasons for ending your life One for religious glory One because of shame … think The Samurai And most common deep depression the one I struggle with The best version is from Retrospectiveconcert 2013 Happy Sunday lol 😂 Love this channel !!

The melody is so beautiful, for the slower parts he sang in this song they always sounded like a ballad - just lovely 🥰💖🎶
