Hi I love this idea! Thank you for sharing 🎉 I have 6 friends that we go on a quilt weekend. We sew and quilt to our hearts desire. Next year it will be our 27th year doing it. I want to make something for everyone and when I saw this I will make it for everyone. Thanks ❤
4:50 Thank you for the whole process, but especially the "blind stitch" method. I'd forgotten how to do that (been a while since I've hand sewn anything). This is so cute, and very handy for anyone travelling a lot.
Oh my, this is just delightful! Both the kit and your calm gentle clip - thank you!!! I have only recently discovered your work and am so enjoying seeing more! Keep it up! :)
Thank you very much for your lovely tutorial and for the template too! One of my New Year's resolutions is to do more sewing and this is most definitely at the top of my list. I'm so glad youtube recommended your channel. 😊💖
This is lovely, thank you. I will make one for each of my projects and it will help me keep what I need handy. Please help us make scissor and thimble keepers if you can. I'm so happy to have found you and subscribed today. Merry Christmas and happy new year! Vera in Northern Ireland ❤
Thank You so much for the tutorial and the pattern I plan to make this as a gift to someone and for myself too. Such a lovely simple design and very practical Love it!
Great detailed video and such a cute little gift for the sewers I know. My only thought is could you show the finished product in the beginning before you start so I know exactly what the video is for.
New subscriber from Portugal.. Just found your delightful channel today. I'm busy organising my sewing kit and this is truly useful. Going to make one as soon as I'm done fixing my friends jeans, etc
Trying to figure out where to attach a thread cutter. Perhaps a magnet to just attach to the scissors. You can get those mini snips on a chain, too. So perhaps a wee round button hole for the chain.
I’m very interested in your ideas. Maybe there’s a way you can attach the round Clover pendant thread cutter instead of the button closure? Where would you be putting the scissors or thread snips?
So cute! 😍 I have a beautiful old Chinese silk brocade lipstick holder with a mirror that I use for my needles and it is a similar shape. Now I know how to make another one that holds a spool too. Thank you :)
You can also pre-thread needles , pull up the thread you wand for the first needle and cut it off. the other needles stay threaded. Great for travel. Lovely - thanks
To add a bobbin make the body wider by the same thickness as the bobbin, for overall bigger just increase the circumference of the circle by 1/2 inch or larger as well as add 1/2 inch to the length and width of the body. Try using a piece of paper and tape to make a prototype before the actual piece.
Oh, this is a very interesting idea. I've been searching for a perfect case for holding hand sewing kit forever. Recenty, I've been thinking perhaps Is houkd make small holder pouches for different tools, then making a big case and stuff all those pouches inside.
please click the link below the video, you need to be signed into your google account, if you have trouble please email me arounna@bookhou.com and I can send it to you that way 😊
I like the fact that you get right to the point with the tutorial, no pointless preamble, or boring backstory lol.
Me too. There are so many people I don't watch because they just talk too much
I made one for a gift! It was fun, and I plan on making another for myself. Thank you, and merry Christmas. xo

Love this any modification instructions for different size spools or to add a bobbin so you have it all together.
To add a bobbin make the body wider by the same thickness as the bobbin, for overall bigger just increase the circumference of the circle by 1/2 inch or larger as well as add 1/2 inch to the length and width of the body. Try using a piece of paper and tape to make a prototype before the actual piece.

❤❤❤❤tolle idee❤❤❤❤
❤
Love this. Would it fit an Aurifil spool, or would I need to adapt it? (I am thinking about the larger spool, which is about this size.)
Yes I think you will need to adapt, it’s a bit longer and narrower
@@bookhoudesign thanks! I think the modifications would be pretty straightforward.
Thank you ,this is the sweetest thing .How can I download the templates please ?
