Dark and darker - Hotfix 54 Druid rat door trick

With the new patch, insta shapeshift is no longer a thing.
Now you need to be closer (right before the rectangle), and need to JUMP first THEN let go of shapeshift WHILE RISING UP.
Timing got tighter and you need to be perpendicular to the door.
Chicken Triple jump seems to work but even more inconsistent :p

Thank you for sharing this, I spent like 3 dungeons straight just trying this before I figured they just nuked the ability to do it at all.

My transformation feel not so instant anymore, so should i chicken then rat now?

It feels like they made it so that you can't jump during that split second you're shifting (when your character waves his hands around) so now forcing you to jump right before the shift

Why even do this if you make us one hit no matter what in rat form killed the game for me ngl I'm butt hurt 🤷🏽‍♂️ and I'm cry till they change it back druid can't solo a lobby but they max out these wizards they use the class themselves

I'm back, what's better to use chicken form then rat or human then rat before the jump switch?

I prefer human to rat since chicken jump requires perfect triple jump, 1 less variable to worry about. It also seems like you need to be perfectly squared to the door

after this patch the only way i can do it is with chicken jumps

Normal. no crouch required

Run towards door, hover rat form with Q, shift walk and immediately jump and release Q all at the same time?

Yes but without the "shift walk"?
hold Q and hover over rat form, let go of Q THEN PRESS JUMP while holding W

Before the hotfix I could do it like 95% of the time... now it's more like 65%
I must've spammed it at least 30 times before I got my first lucky one and once I felt the timing of the shift, I was able to work on distance from door. You'll definitely get it!
