    Excellent video! Made the textbook make much more sense. I'm still not understanding when potassium returns to the cell. Is this after the hyperpolarization with the Na⁺/K⁺-ATPase pump?

      Yes, Na⁺/K⁺ ATPase pump returns the cell to its resting membrane potential, and the cycle repeats with another action potential.

    Why is the resting membrane potential negative 70 mv? The cell is filled with potassium which is a cation. Also how/when does potassium renter the cardiac cell?

      It’s a comparison from inside the cell to outside. There are more cations outside the cell compared to the potassium inside the cell so -70 is just what the comparison difference is from in to out.
