Very inspiring buddy, don't get disappointed by the dislikes in your channel, and what u shared about the success is really true,it takes 3 days to animate bouncing ball when I made up my mind that I am going to learn it slowly , but with dedication this time, earlier I tried it , it was disappointing cause I wanted quick results and started blaming blender that it didn't have a good interface and gave up . But when ease into it ,and animate whenever i get free time ,I learnt IT
This video is such a big truth. I am not an animator myself but try to play with blender without any purpose. Even if you are interested the 10-minute thing is not real. Appreciate this video.
Thank you, I got to know you from your lessons in Udemy, you're always giving golden advises, not many people give these golden tips. I just wanted you know that I really appreciate your vidz, and cant wait to absorb them all! :)
I really love your tutorials, the way you explain. You tell only what you need to tell, thats why I decided to learn only from your tutorials. Others talk too much and it confuses beginners like myself lol. Thank you.
This is the first time I've heard about the 10,000 hour rule. I did some fast math on that based on my own time I'm able to put into side projects with 3-D modeling. With a full time job I'm able to put in ~2,000 hours in side projects every year which means I'll be pro in 5 years. That isn't too bad if you're making it your life passion. :) Da math: 4 hours for 5 days of the week and 10 hours on weekends = 40 hours a week x 52 weeks a year =2080. Minus 80 hours due to life happenings gives you ~2000 hours a year. 10,000 divided by 2000 = 5 years.
In five years' time you are going to be five years older whether you learn CGI or not, so you can choose to be the 'five years older you' who is a great CGI artist, or the 'five years older you' who is not. I know which one I'm going for!
Wow! It's so funny, I thought that it should only take 10 minutes to make a low poly animal sculpture, and it really stressed me out that it took me a whole day to make my model Staffy, lol xxx Well that's a relief I thought I was really bad at making low poly animals XXX Jess's
in first part about low poly animal video i think it's ok anyone will rework on video (of course not copy but similar method) just rework and update guide with new tools (like old video is old version just do on new version.) also i watch a lot guide in same thing like create human model, rigging, jiggle hair and physic i still saw a lot youtuber channel comment and thank you about guide. and move on the way to success i think just keep doing on practice what you like and spend time with it as for me i have to spend atleast 1 hr or 30 min. to watch tutorial and repeat follow video to learning technic and guideline to achive goal. (right now still practice on sclupting but still on simple shape like rock, stone, box and leaf.) thank you for read my long comment this is i give opinion about way to success and see others do about guide stuff.
Funny how you address us viewers as the ones who don’t drop off, when I really feel called out by the people that drop off part. Idk, it’s not like I expected shortcuts, but my motivation doesn’t have a great history of lasting me long enough :P (Opening up Blender would be a step in the right direction, it’s been a few days whoops)
Good point. Some days are tougher than others but getting into good habits and building on them is important. Yes opening up blender each day is a good one to start with 😃
ok, I am gonna share something with you: there is huge amount of people who are not artists but programmers, who want to make games but have no art. Like me. So if you can deliver vids about how to make simple, quick models, you are gonna be the winner :)
For me, I guess the length of the video depends. If I'm looking for an explanation of what a node, button, modifier works, etc does... then yes, quick videos. If I'm looking for sculpting or modeling something intricate, I'd rather watch a long video.
My mind not willing to work in these days of lockdown and I don't feel like doing any work except playing games and sleeping. Can you suggest some ways to get back on the track and finish my projects or rather i should start new ones?? @ritikkumarms (insta) I couldn't help it ! 😁

I used to do fencing and my Sensei would say "practice doesn't make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect"
So true 😃
I like this one! And that really nicely works with the "do quality practice" which makes so much sense, especially with picking up new skills!
yeah, to avoid building bad habits

Try small steps and using the game as a reward. Also get exercise even a little will help
