    Thanks for the video. I booked vacation - guided tour through travel site. They never mentioned that during our stay will be Radaman.
    Can you tell me if this will be limited - entrance to all atractiomns or trip to safari with belly dancers ?

    friend a question in the time of ramadan all tourist sites are normal or closed during ramadan, and as for food it is true that the restaurants are closed there is no place to eat, thanks for your answer and good luck

      everything is as usual just no concert kind of things. restaurants are open and you can eat at restaurants as usual. these are just theories by people who never visited UAE lol.

    Thanks for this! Can you dress normally in Ramadan out on the streets or do you have to be more careful?

    • @mabelgoulden872
      @mabelgoulden872  2 года назад

      It totally depends where you are going! If you are going to an iftar or something I think it’s a good idea to dress respectfully. If you’re going to a beach club I think you’re fine!

      @mabelgoulden872 I'm thinking of cancelling and going at a different time.
      I mean, it will be 30ish degrees and it will be a shame to be in such beautiful surroundings in Dubai, such as the marina etc and not be able to have a drink of water outside a restaurant soaking in the sun, views and atmosphere.
      I'm also concerned I will be too hot having to cover up arms and legs, so wearing jeans and long sleeve top in 35 degree heat. Yes, I know the locals do it every day, but this is supposed to be a holiday...and no being able to have an orange juice outside in the sun watching the world go by feels like its very restrictive and torturous.

    I come to Dubai during the Ramadan and I am worried about the restaurants because I checked on Google and people said that everything will be closed and then I asked a woman who lives in Dubai and she told me that the restaurants will be open, Maybe you know for sure? I'm really confused, everyone tells me something different🙁

      Hey! In the past things used to close, now things stay open. You don’t need to worry 👍

    I just realized I’m
    Going during this time. Do I have to wear specific cloth? Do I have to cover my hair? Do I have to fast? What time they break fast?

    • @mabelgoulden872
      @mabelgoulden872  4 месяца назад

      You don’t have to fast and you don’t need to cover your hair. If visiting a government building or an area with local emirati people cover your knees and shoulders

    In 2014 I was in Dubai during Ramadan and let me tell you:
    it was the worst time of my life ! There was no restaurants open, could not eat out in public, many places were closed.
    It really made my trip miserable

      I can imagine! nearly 10 years later and Dubai has a very different approach to Ramadan
