Enjoyed the video Jeff, must be really nice having your own private videographer, definitely jealous of good time Charlie! I used to hang lizards off my earlobes as a kid to freak my Mom out but had to stop as she’s deathly afraid of lizards & I’m not even exaggerating that point in the slightest! She would literally run out of the house down the street, so Dad said I had to stop that immediately, lol. She, to this day cannot even say the word lizard. Anyway, your having fun with that lizard brought back lots of memories. 😄 I’m glad you guys could all show up on this one, the homeowner was very appreciative! Thanks again, it was a lot of fun, peace brother. ✌️🐝✌️
What a great day it was JP, loved spending it with all of you guys. You know we will be doing this again. If your mom happens to watch the video, tell her I'm sorry about showing the lizard. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
Talk about the wild bunch! Wow, the outlaws of bee keepers. Did this cause homeland security to go on high alert? LOL just kidding. Good to see the gang together. I must say the waitress that gets this table has their hands full.
There's always that one person who is next level. There's your friend finding the Queen before the wall is open, and there's Mr Ed wearing live lizards as earrings! 🤣
Growing up in lower Plaquemine Parish in the early 60's, lizards were everywhere, and I loved catching them. We'd hang them on ourselves and each other just for laughs. Thanks for watching.God's peace Johnny. Mr. Ed
I love it! I can't sleep, Mr. ED, I was busy with honey do chores yesterday. We will watch it again with coffee in the morning . I'm wide awake laughing with ya'll! P.S. Only your die-hard fans will enjoy this one😂 so far you got a lot of them. Have a wonderful weekend Mr.Ed
There's much talk about how bees hear or even if they can. But we sometimes see bees vibrating other bees to wake them up, or a bunch will gather on a mature queen cell to shake her into emerging, so we know vibratory signaling is essential. The location of this colony, that's directly above an AC unit, which is loud and vibrates, says something about how bees can cope with their chosen environment. If you had asked me would bees live that close to a somewhat noisy vibrating unit before this video, I would have guessed they probably would not. Simply because the unit would interfere with their natural signaling. But there they are, thriving. Thanks for the video!
Happy to share the video and thanks so much for your thought about vibrations and how bees utilize them, pretty cool! Thanks for watching.God's peace William. Mr. Ed
Oh my gosh, seeing JP and Shawee, what a treat! All you guys together, the rooster, Mr. Ed and Charlie , How long has it been since y’all have worked together. Nice reunion, oh and the hive removal was a bonus LOL. Great to see y’all together again making a great video :)
Mr. Ed, are you sure that was cut with a saw? Looks like the bees just started on a groove in the T-111 siding as it is a thinner spot to go through and they followed the sides of the groove to avoid the thicker part. Likely a small spot at the top and worked their way down. Owner needs to glue some aluminum flashing over those entry points from the inside to keep out future bees.
She was oblivious to the fact of who we were. She was 90 years old and just wanted the bees to be gone...and us afterwards. Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed
You are going to have to make a trip down here one day and get in on the action, there's always room for one more RUclips bee wrangler. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
I am a new bee keeper. Caught my first swarm this spring. I have been researching and watching RUclips for months and found all your channels. I didn't know that you were all in cahoots till recently. This is the dream team! I have found that I prefer the way you all go about your bees. You are all very informational and actually have contributed to my decision to get started with bees at 7,000 ft. ASL. Thanks fellas!
Yes, we have all been friends for over 10 years now. What a great story, and I'm so excited to hear I was a part of why you began beekeeping. I always say, the world needs as many beekeepers as it can get, thank you so much for joining the ranks. Best wishes for all your successes...especially at 7,000 feet elevation. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace David. Mr. Ed
Ok, Dirt Rooster didn't surprise me, though pleasant to see him, but JP !!! then Shawee !! They are almost as rare as 4 leaf clovers !! Thanks for the surprise, Mr. Ed !
So Mr. Ed, you didn’t say if you were stung without your suit on while removing the bees? You guys really amaze me. Your skills with handling the bees are so very impressive. I can handle having one bee sniff around my hand but not a whole handful. Bless y’all. I don’t know if you remember me but we spoke earlier in the year about a mean hive. You suggested I could wait 6 weeks for the girls to calm down, (I didn’t want to kill the Queen). It worked just like you said. Thanks again. Thank you all for your skills and kindness.
Not one of was stung during this removal, it was a very good day! I do remember you, and I'm really glad things worked out for your bees and you concerning their temperament. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. Love spending time with all my favorite Bee saviors! Wishing you all a beautiful happy day...full of positivity and Blessings 🙌 From Northern Indiana 🐝💛💫
Hey Mr. Ed!!! As I’ve already commented in some of your other videos, I love it when you all get together and work your magic. You are all so much fun to watch. Nobody in that group ever cuts any of the others any slack at all but every single one of you know that the other four have your back and would be there if you ever needed them. That is true friendship. May God Bless you all!!!!
We certainly do have a great time when we get together. I wish it could be more often, but we all have busy schedules and when we do get together, we make the most of it. It's awesome to have such good friends! Thank you for your blessings and for watching. Until the next one, God's peace brother. Mr. Ed

I'm positive the Rooster would love that job, higher elevations mean cooler temps, and the Rooster is all about keeping cool. Thanks for watching. God's peace David. Mr. Ed
I’m amazed at where the scouts find places to establish a new hive when it’s swarm time. Some of the places I’ve seen you guys recover hives from are extraordinary.
I’m sorry Mr. Ed, but that definitely looks like it has mouse teeth marks all over it. As if a mouse had gotten in between those two walls and was trying to chew a way to the outside. Probably way before the bees settled in.
If the rounded edges had not been done along the entire upper edge of the plywood and only around an entrance, I would agree with you, I'm still of the belief the bees did it. God's peace Robert. Mr. Ed

Does someone really even need a reason to eat fried chicken? It should be in it's own food group it's so group. Thanks for watching. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
Oh my word, what an absolute treat!!! You boys sure did have a good time with that itty bitty hive. Loved the way the Dirt Rooster yanked that wall right off. 😂 How tall is he anyway? Poor guy was getting whacked in the head by the fan light! I never met JP or Shawee (is that his real name?) before. Will have to look them up. Hope you all had a great lunch...and will be makin' more!
The Rooster is about 6'5" and compared to me at 5'7'' he's a regular mountain. JP and Schawee have been doing removals for years, in fact, I learned from watching JP remove bees. Schawee's real name is Bruce, but nobody calls him by that. It's cajun for raccoon. Thanks for watching. God's peace Carole. Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff Wow... Then practically all the giants in the bee removal arena (in your area) were there! I find the Rooster so endearing. He seems very gentle natured for such a giant of a man. And "Schawee?!" 🤣 Cajun for racoon!!! I love that! In fact I love the Cajun people; their culture, their music & dancing, their food...it's absolutely beautiful, intoxicating and deeeelicious! I used to live in Houston back in the 80's and was a massage therapist with a thriving practice. One of the couples who were clients of mine had relatives visit from Shreveport. Pure cajun folk! They gifted them massages and they all liked it so much that they begged me to come to Louisiana to work on them again a couple months later. So I agreed to come if they would find others who were interested and give me a couple of days work to make the trip worth the effort. They put me up in a little guest apartment over their garage and booked me two days solid with back to back massages. I think I worked on 17 people in two days; practically wore me out! But the best part was the next morning when I was getting ready to head for home. They invited me to stay on awhile to go fishing with them out on one of the bayous. Said they didn't want to work me so hard and send me home without showing me some Cajun hospitality. They had a nice flat bottomed boat with seats and a cooler full of cold beer, and they got me all set up with a pole and out we went. It was absolutely gorgeous out there. We saw lots of alligators of course, but also so many different kinds of birds and water foul, even a family of schawee! 🤣 We caught a mess of fish that morning and brought 'em all back and they had them cleaned up and in the skillet faster than we could get the boat cleaned and all the gear put away. Then we proceeded to eat fried fish, hush puppies and crawfish étouffée until I was fit to bust! Mmmmmmmm Mmm!!! Best dang food, company and hospitality ever... Just good friendly people who know how to live life to the fullest.
Hey Richard, always great hearing from you and letting me know you are out there watching. Thanks for doing that and for checking in. God's peace brother. ]Mr. Ed
I tried that years ago, but the weight of the light make the tip heavy and that makes vacuuming bees difficult. I's just easier for me to hold the flashlight with my teeth. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Toney. Mr. Ed

That, by any other term was a MOB! Great catch and the entrance looked like chain saw cuts. Hope yall didn't overload yall's selves, so have a Jesus weekend and God Bless ALL Yall!
How nice that you were all able to be together. I was worried about no protection. I was wondering how y'all know that the bees will be calm when you pull the wall.
You don't know, you just find out. Fortunately, these were VERY nice bees. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. I love it! "We're not lost.... We're just misplaced" :-)

More like the BIG Rascals now, ay?! 🤣

We caught a mess of fish that morning and brought 'em all back and they had them cleaned up and in the skillet faster than we could get the boat cleaned and all the gear put away. Then we proceeded to eat fried fish, hush puppies and crawfish étouffée until I was fit to bust! Mmmmmmmm Mmm!!! Best dang food, company and hospitality ever... Just good friendly people who know how to live life to the fullest.

More cutting up than a butcher shop! Good job fellas
Really enjoyed seeing all the bee men at work.
Someone needs to integrate a light for the vacuum hose.
Mr. Ed
