Omg. My husband also has epilepsy. My husband had the petimal seizures when he was little as well, he was around 6 or 7. When he got around 17 or 18 he grow out of them and came off medicine. Unfortunately around 18 he had his first grandmal seizure. Now we deal with that. My husband definitely has more seizures when he gets anxious.

Hubby has only had one grand mal since we have been married, he has 4 different types, mostly now its just the petit mals and if he gets too angry he has an aggression type. So keeping him calm is important.

Hi Cambriea, thank you for sharing about your epilepsy disorder. Yes, I do have a friend (from highschool) that has epilepsy. I have learned so much about her epilepsy in her later years. She has the stare seizures more now. In fact I have been with her when she has gone thru. And, I am sure it was from the stress of her Mother passing.
I am so glad you explained more about yours, especially about your loss of memory with yours (as a young child). I have noticed that more about her now.
Even tho I realize it's different with each person, it really helped me to understand her better in what she is going thru today. I really care about her like sister, so yeah, it helped.

My husband thought he was CURED because he didn't have any for a number of years, so when we got married he didn't tell me either. Then when we had a major family issue he started having them again and had to go back on medication.

Cambriea, one of the best things anyone of us can do to advocate (for ourselves and others who have certain illnesses or conditions) is to do what you have done. People need to see others living healthy, happy and productive lives with the same condition. I really respect and admire you for sharing your story!

”Fried brain” is such a telling description on how it feels. I have migraines and I also get sensory overload if I hear different ’unnatural’ sounds at the same time like if I’m watching youtube and my husband is watching a video as well, I can’t handle that. Natural sounds like birds chirping and other nature sounds don’t cause the same problems. For me, it’s enough if it’s clean OR picked up, but I do prefer if it’s both. I do study full time and need to handle my stress by not having a full to do list. Thank you for sharing your story with us here!

I posted on your Instagram about my son having seizures from having a stroke when I was pregnant with him, and me having seizures myself, and you explained what it’s like having seizures so well! People don’t understand sometimes why I need to take myself out of anxiety ridden situations, but it’s ok as long as I know what I need to do. I’m glad you brought your seizures to light, it would be nice if more people understood what it’s like. You’re right, I always felt like if people knew they wouldn’t want to be around me or I must the only one like this. I’m glad I know as an adult, that there are millions like me (us). ❤️❤️❤️

I have epilepsy from a compound skull fracture when I was 12 so I can relate to your struggles an how you balance your life. It sounds like you had focal seizures which I had too from lack of sleep an too much stress. People who don’t understand epilepsy don’t understand how we work an I think it scares them. It’s their loss in my opinion. Rock on girl you’re amazing 😘

I think sharing issues, be they health or otherwise is such a positive thing to do.
I was stunned when a friend let on one day about an awful experience she once had when younger and yet you would have thought her life was perfect. I had never told anyone (except my counsellor) that I had had the same experience too. It was such a supportive thing for us to be able to share, and we have both moved on now.
Am I the only one who is literally paralysed when having to tackle huge messes or, like currently, undoing my kitchen cupboards because we are having a new one fitted? I just want to curl up in my bed and stay there!!!

I don’t have epilepsy but I have chronic Lyme disease in my brain and central nervous system and I definitely can get overstimulated easily in a crowd or with a lot of music/activity and I have to get alone in quiet to decompress. On a bad day I even have to mute the music when I watch a RUclips video! I follow a strict keto diet to control my symptoms (carbs/sugar feed the Lyme bugs) and it certainly helps me!!

I see the neurologist every 3 months still . They saw seizure activity before on my MRI . They found a cyst on my pituitary gland . They did diagnose me with epilepsy. I have several auto immune too . I also have high sensitivity to smells and noises . I used to love concerts but had to start wearing ear plugs . But then I couldn't hear the talking parts very well . I am glad you are doing well !

Thanks for sharing about your seizure disorder and how clutter and stress or noise can trigger you. I don’t have a seizure disorder but I have anxiety for sure! Having a calm organized space helps so much! And I get having to take moments to collect yourself when in a certain environment. Even if it’s good positive energy it can still feel over-whelming for some of us. I have learned that when my mind starts racing, like I’m thinking all my thoughts at once, it’s time for me to take a pause for the cause lol. I could benefit from keeping my environment more organized. That’s why I love your channel so much. I feel motivated to make positive changes. Thanks for all you do!!

I use to suffer from epileptic seizures that my Dr thought was brought on by fever & trauma as a kid. But I didn't get diagnosed til after my 2nd baby in 1988. I was on medication & could only semi control it. I had the focal sizures, the Grand mal, & seizures in my sleep. I also had anxiety that would trigger panic attacks & seizures. In 1999, I went to a revival & got prayed for by a preacher that God had cured from diabeties. I felt led by god to have him pray for me. I slowly got off my meds, even my anxiety meds, got a job, & haven't had a seizure since he prayed for me. God is good.

With talking, sharing tips and tricks is great and I wouldn't worry about repeating yourself sometimes. You never know who is watching you for the first time - like me! I'm 26, in a newly bought house and watching these for motivation and to pick up on how to store efficiently and clean super well.
I also love that you talked about your health; that's another thing that you never know is how many people watching can relate on various levels. I've been disabled by chronic illness (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and associated disorders) since I was 19. I love that it's easier to talk about things now, but we have a way to go!

Having listened to the rest of your story ... The being treated different part. It's so complicated and odd, right? My condition is largely invisible, but I use a wheelchair part time. Literally as soon as I am in that chair everyone assumes I'm incapable of everything. People who live with me, work with me, family members. People who know exactly what I'm capable of start offering help for everything. I know they all mean well but it's just so weird that my outward image seems to do a 180 flip as soon as the chair is involved.

I'm glad you are sharing your medical issues with us. I have serious OCD that I get negatively affected by mess and it triggers my anxiety and panic attacks. I explained to my 10 yo son briefly what happens to you to reinforce what I said about me. It he understood lol probably because he was distracted by his tablet time lol. I respect and appreciate your decion to share your story with us. Thank you.

THANK YOU so much for sharing, my daughter 15 15 and was diagnosed with Epilepsy when she was 12, she is also Diabetic. I am constantly worrying about her and her levels. I am just so grateful every day she DOSEN'T have one. She does get the grand mal seizures, and doesn't remember a little before, but she remembers when she comes out of them. We are TRYING to change our diet to be healthier. Also thank you for the motivation for cleaning, I wish we could really speed clean.....LOL! KEEP INSPIRING!! I will follow you on IG.

I think cleaning baked on cheese from a crockpot is one of the worst. I hate having to clean those out. Glad all of the kiddos had such a great birthday with family & other kiddos. You clean up your house for all of the guest coming to the party THEN you turn around & have to clean your house again after said party is over. Great job Cambriea & Bobby!

Thank you for sharing your story. I suffer from depression and anxiety and can totally relate to being overwhelmed in over stimulating situations and also what I call "brain fog". Unable to organise things in my head or see things clearly. I think you're an inspiration 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💙

Thank you for sharing your health story. I have a similar health issue due to anxious & overwhelming issues that I inflict on myself. When I stretch myself too thin throughout the day or try to multitask just a little more than necessary I will breakout in welts! It’s a immune issue that can mask as allergies. I’m currently battling insomnia & that doesn’t help. So, it’s just a matter of doing small tasks at a time. Resting… then resuming later or the next day….easier said than done as I have to have my house tidy before going to bed! See what I mean…crazy! But life is good & like you, don’t let the everyday mundane things get you down! Your family is sweet & enjoy!

I love how honest and open you are on your channel. Sometimes, my house turns into the disaster. I get pretty upset at myself and then, overwhelmed. I have 3 young boys and my husband and I are both law enforcement and to be honest, there are days I'm so tired, I can't even shower. I'm learning to be organized and tackle each task day by day :)

I love the story about your health that was shared today. I am also epileptic and was not diagnosed until my early 30’s. I have many of the same triggers as you. Glad to know that chaos, noise and anxiety are things that someone else has to manage. Nice to know I am not alone and someone understands. I wish I was able to control without meds…maybe someday.

Thank you SO MUCH Cambria for sharing your story. I’ve been dealing with almost daily migraines since 9/4. I ended up going to the ER twice the pain was so bad. My primary care doc changed my previous Rx but it hasn’t helped . I’m scheduled for an MRI but the 1st opening Neurolgy has is 11/18 😳. So meanwhile my mind has been crazy for fear of what could be causing them. Learning about your condition helped a lot. Love you, kids & hubby - best channel ever 😍

Hey Cambriea! I didn't know you have Epilepsy. I would have had so many questions for you a couple years ago lol. My son started having issues with Epilepsy when he was in 2nd grade. Then it got more serious as he got older. He had to go through so many tests too. We switched him to a gluten free/ semi keto diet because we noticed when he would have gluten his symptoms were worse. Also, I know exactly what you mean about the stress levels and overly stimulating environments can trigger Epilepsy symptoms. We were able to wean him off his medication after 2 years and he's pretty much grown out of it now (he's 17 now). He still has to control his stress levels and still eats really well and is about 90% gluten free. Thank you for sharing. I'm glad you are able to talk about it now and that it's pretty much under control. Now I have to go back and watch again for the cleaning motivation lol. Talk to you soon friend💕

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that you are showing more of your furbabies. Please talk more about how you are able to do what you do with physical limitations. I deal with bad Hashimoto's, which I know you also have, and multiple kinds of migraines including a kind that periodically will paralyze my legs or a side of the body (in addition to other major medical issues). I have more bad days than good. Please share more about how you make your house function with your issues. Thank you!

Hi Cambria, I love your videos. I also had epilepsy as a child. I got mine as a baby. Luckily I outgrew mine, so very blessed about that, but can totally relate. Not many people talk about it so I really appreciate you taking openly about your experiences. Have a blessed week. Know you have a fan loving your videos all the way in South Africa.

I haven't ever been told that I had any kind of seizure type but I can't stand any situation that there is a lot of loud noise (including family trying all talk at once), I have memory loss on some things & totally know the "fried brain" feeling. Glad you're helping people to know that not all seizures looks the same or people don't always have the same triggers. My son in law has non-epileptic seizures that have been controlled with medication & thankful he hasn't had any seizures in a long time.

My brother has the same type of seizures as you. They were found on an EEG also. We found out when he was about 10. He would always kind of space out for a little bit and then come to all of a sudden and say what now? It was like he would leave the conversation for a minute and then jump back in. He always said it was like daydreaming a lot. He still has them, but he's 38 now so he has learned how to manage with them the best he can. Thank you for sharing your story!
