I bought one, a 20" barrel .308. I just fitted an aimpoint to it and all I use it for is shooting flushing boars as they come running out of their beds when im stalking up dry creek beds. I like it
Thanks for the great video! I always wanted a straight pull rifle. Tried the Savage Impulse was impressed. It was very accurate and fast. However, I didn't like the feel of it. The Blaser and other European straight pulls are simply too expensive for me. This BRX1 is in my price range, thankyou Berreta. I'm glad to know the 300 Win Mag was mild in terms of recoil. Would like to see it offered in more chamberings 6.5 Creedmore, 6.5 PRC, 270, 30-06, 280AI, and especially in 7mm PRC or 7mm Rem Mag. I normally shoot a 7mm Browning Abolt and a Remington 700 and Marlin XLR. Would like to see a video comparing the speed of the Henry Long Ranger lever action (extremely fast, short lever motion) action to this Berreta in .308. Speed trails, so to speak.
I'll take this over Springfield, Remington, Ruger, or Axis anyday. Straight-pulls are 50% faster with follow-ups. Combine that with ambi bolt, and you can run the action without having to take your hand off the fire controls. It's good to see Beretta still being innovative, can't say the same for the previously mentioned companies who haven't won any recent govt contracts. Synthetic stock looks good on a modern design. Could care less if it had walnut. Looking forward to aftermarket chassis designs.
What a boss. NGL I'm super salt that I just found these rifles as I literally bought a 300 WM last week. No complaints about the rifle at all. But if I had known this was an option I would have gone for this instead. Especially since the cost difference from this and my Bergara was only $200 more.
@@Truth-Istina honestly I wish I could help you there. I don’t shoot past 500 and even then I take those shots as rarely as possible as I don’t feel it’s ethical to hunt past that
Very interesting new rifle. Good, reliable Linear pull bolt guns have always been a fantasy. Great concept but is it possible that we are finally there? Savage has it's Impulse with the ball bearing lock up system and now this... Gonna be a while before I give up my traditional bolt gun though.
Finally there? Blaser has been there for 30 years. It takes a lot more than making a "straight pull thing" to come close to Blaser. Lock time, trigger, scope mount, precision +++++. I was stupid enough to buy a high-end Sauer rifle some years ago. Heavy, long, shit precision, b quality trigger, longer lock time +++ I sold it fast. Beretta has built in a lot of problems to some of the new shotgun models. It's not silver pigeon quality all that leaves the factory anymore.
the Beretta BRX is much better then the Blaser, even the changing of the caliber, the trigger, much easier, and the shotgun 1301 is the best shotgun i know, i find it even better as the Benelli M4! and about the Savage, i saw a test with the Savage they hit the shaft on the floor, 2-3 times and then pulled the trigger, the Savage don't shoot, problem with the trigger, with the Beretta everything worked well

No, he shows loading the magazine with the sako blade but when he inserts the magazine its full of sako hammerhead ammunition. The round on the top has no green tip. Look close at 1:05, thats not the blade!
If you look at the case. It’s the 300 win mag that they loading into the magazine with its belted case. They just needed a bit of footage of loading the magazine. He was in fact shooting the hammerhead ammo in the .308 win. As seen at 1:05
That's not a review, that's an ad. You said exactly what Beretta told you to say. The only information I gathered from this video is that you can load from both sides, which is nice, and that the gun looks ugly AF, which is not so nice. Praising the accuracy because of a three shot group is like giving Las Ketchup a Grammy, and no matter how often you tell us they have 500 years of experience, the springs on their flagship shotgun still breaks like it's made in some chinese factory, so please tell me: Why is this gun better than others?

So many are already for decades
Blazer, Merkel, Browning, Savage, Quite a few around...
Thats much better accuracy than I have seen on another reveiw, interesting to see how it feels in the hand when available in shops

Not crazy about the straight pull action, doesn't seem like it locks safely. Amazed by the accuracy.
Are you referring to this this straight pull action only, or straight pull actions in general?

Doesn't even mention the fact that the picatinny rail is only connected to the rifle in the front. That's a weakness and should be talked about.
