I love how everyone is asking what game this is. You clearly have no childhood.
I used to be terrified of Ursula when I was little. Watching this battle makes me cringe slightly.
And all this time I'd been fighting her the hard way, why didn't I think if using stop like that? Brilliant!

I got killed like 20 times before I realized I had a thunder ring. Got it first try wearing it yesterday.
This was honestly one of the hardest bosses in the game imo. when I was little I would just swim around and let Ariel and Donald fight her until she's down to a sliver of health, then I do the final blow.
In my opinion, Ariel was the strongest and best Disney character you could recruit on your team. I was disappointed the creators reduced her role to some stupid mini game. She represented the Disney ladies in this game!
She’s the only princess that actually fights heartless with you until Mulan in 2…she’s a badass!
The only strategy I used here was to stay away from Ursela until after her Inhale attack.

Oh, yay. We get multiple stopped frames of her MORBID IMAGE.
It may not have been the best designed world as the lack of mobility in a pinch or ability to block made even fighting the regular heartless awkward and difficult (makes no damage runs of the game pretty hard so lots of people skip this world) But the giant boss fight with Ursula more than makes up for it since she is such an iconic Disney villain. I actually liked the singing segments in 2 though completely making Atlantica non explorable seemed a bit odd, hopefully KH3 mixes the two instead.
That was amazing! I'm gonna try that next time.

I thought that since she is a boss she would be immune to stop, because in most Final Fantasy games this kind of spells didn't work at most bosses, I guess I was wrong.

you get it after you defeat the opposite armor in traverse town, you can also upgrage it at the yellow trinity at the ship hold in neverland, and also upgrade it again when you gather all 99 puppies

play proud mode and now you have to manage items and dodging her attacks too
lunasam9 yep, but you could also grind in tournaments to beat certain bosses, what i've noticed it's that on proud you can lvl up quicker from all the times you get killed. Having to kill normal enemies again and again to get to a boss fight
I think the only downside to getting ko'd is having a high game over count in the end battle report, you can still unlock everything

IT took me about 50 tries to beat this boss. I don't know what level i was, but i would die in 2 hits.
3 or 4 with aero on. my partners would die and be completely useless, except for Ariel she was a really good healer.
