He is a master. An awesome artist.

It's a sleazy tongue-in-cheek video from the director of Wondershozen for a calm, serious romantic song. Will Oldham is extremely talented and has written some of my favourite music of all time, but sometimes even the greatest artists are susceptible to well-deserved criticism. I highly doubt that this video was created as an artistic statement, or that this is the imagery Oldham had when he wrote it.
