I dig this. I stumbled upon this by accident!! This blues track has garnered Bonnie 'Prince' Billy a new fan.
Musicians tend to have their "golden years" in the beginning of their career. But Bonnie has resurfaced and reinvented himself. A rare talent, and i am eager to hear more of this.
This is the first I've heard of him and..................WOW. Just...........WOW. Goosebumps, breathless, speechless, Lanegan, and MORE!!!

I saw BpB on the Roskilde Festival, Denmark. I was really looking forward to this concert, but the sound was so bad that I left half way through the show... I still love this song and this album.

@chad7chad1 Have you heard BPB doing Mark Lanegan's track - "Sunrise"? It was released as a 7" by Soul Savers... Mark Lanegan sings a BPB song on the other side... unfortunately, I don't think it's on youtube at the moment... Mark Lanegan / Screaming Trees is/are my favourite singer/band... =O)

They've got very similar fantastic beards, but they don't really have the same features.

@meinLiebsterFeind Yeah. This was the first time I've listened to anything by Bonnie Prince Billy. When I first heard him, he reminded me a lot of Mark Lanegan. So, that's a good thing!!! He just played some festival here in Chicago about a month ago but, it ticked me off because he was set to hit the stage at 6 in the freakin' morning!?!?! WTF!?!?!? I guess it was a 2-3 day festival that went round the clock, or something like that??? Just don't understand why the gave him such a crappy slot???
In fact most his albums are very good. One of my favourites is "Superwolf" although one of the more recent ones. He is a fucking weirdow, yes, but ingenious in what he does. Apparently he rocks live.

I've been trying to figure out for about a week who Bonnie 'Prince' Billy absolutely resembles. I couldn't figure it out for ages, at first I thought it might be that guy out of 'Mythbusters' - but now I've got it.
He's the spitting image of Emile Durkheim - the founder of modern sociology. Fucking bizarre!!!
