I don’t know why people don’t like the camera bump on these. I think they look bad ass. Definitely better than the pixel six and seven models for sure.
If only these phones get software updates like PCs. These flagship chips from two years back could be fast enough for five years of usage but only Samsung gives 5 years total for system and security updates.
I've never owned the 8 Pro. I want it as a part of my collection I've got going. It just never got down to a reasonable price for it on Amazon for a long time 😭
I bought it on Prime Day for €399, but the autonomy doesn't convince me at all. It heats up in situations of very basic use. With bluetooth and some other basic service on (position) the battery drains a lot. And that's a shame, because otherwise it's a solid device. Blame the damn SD 8 Gen 1 produced by Samsung that sucks. If this phone only had the SD 8+ gen 1 it would be the best OnePlus ever, for the features it offers. I'm thinking of returning it to take the Poco F5, which has a much better autonomy and does not heat up.
I read one of your comments that the performance with this phone have been fixed. Does that mean the Home button and Multitask bar are now working properly?
So I wound up selling my OnePlus 10 Pro so as of recent I wouldn't know any longer, but before I sold it it was working a lot better than when I made this video earlier in the year.
i had the 7t pro mclaren since it came out with tmobile favorite phone i ever had, after this forced ota android 12 update the phone barely works anymore on the service. just ordered a 10 pro to replace it waiting now
That's unfortunate to hear. I use Mint Mobile and even after the android 12 update the phone still works great. I'm sure you'll enjoy the OnePlus 10 though!
@@A_Nellprober interesting, you are the first person I've heard about having an issue with it. I also have a 7 Pro. The only part that's somewhat weak now is the battery. I'm considering upgrading to a 10 pro but only if it drops around 400 usd (600$ now in Romania for the 256/12gb version). Besides the battery, I have no issues with the phone.

Yes I have, I was just testing it out for the last two days. So far it seems rather stable and the issue I had that I talked about in the video does seem to be fixed! So overall a very solid experience.
I'm still daily driving the McLaren edition and yeah I wish I had a normal variant as well, but they'll never make another device like this again it seems 😭

I have a OP9 plus and OP8 pro and the OP9 pro will hang sometimes. I have no issues with my OP8 pro just showing battery age now

If I had to choose between them I'd choose the S21 Ultra. I feel the overall experience on the device is better than the 10 Pro.

Yeah I wound up selling mine recently and got the OnePlus 11 haha the 8 gen 2 seems to be holding up well!
Swipe gestures are way better than them old gestures. It’s like you’re back in the 2000s.

Try and grab a OnePlus 12R or even a OnePlus 11 refurbished.
