So you have to breed male shinies with other shinies? Because the female is what determines what the pokemon is, the male shiny is like literally to overwrite the OT? Or all shinies must be bred with shinies?

Here is a summary of How to Breed Shiny Pokemon in PokeMMO:
This video is a guide on how to breed shiny Pokemon in PokeMMO.
The presenter, patrouski, goes over two different types of breeds: male OT shiny breeds and female OT shiny breeds.
For male OT shiny breeds, you need to breed the shiny Pokemon with a female of the same species. You can either buy a female of the same species off the GTL or use a Ditto. If you use a Ditto, the offspring will always be female.
For female OT shiny breeds, you can breed the shiny Pokemon with a male of any species that is in the same egg group. This means that you have a lot more options to choose from, and it is usually cheaper to breed a female OT shiny Pokemon than a male OT shiny Pokemon.
The most important thing to remember when breeding shiny Pokemon is to make sure that you do not lose the OT. The OT is the Original Trainer of the Pokemon, and it is very valuable. If you lose the OT, you will not be able to get it back.
The presenter also goes over some of the other things that you need to consider when breeding shiny Pokemon, such as the IVs and the nature of the Pokemon.

So the male still needs to be shiny, when having a female OT shiny right?

in that situation the ralts would come out unown OT, you cannot fudge OT on a shiny you didnt actually catch in the wild at some point
I did this with a Gible (non-shiny) I bought from the GTL and bred it with a ton of magikarps for IVs and it always had the star on it... I don't understand what you did different here
Shiny breeding and non shiny breeding are different when it comes to OT. For non shiny, as long as u have the pokemon caught OT in ur dex, everything will come out OT. So in that instance if u catch a wild gible, get it caught OT in ur dex, u can buy and breed all gibles you want!

When dealing with shinies people tend to heavily value “OT” which is essentially the person who caught the pokemon, which essentially proves they went through the effort of hunting it, which is important because it takes much more time and is much more difficult to achieve an OT shiny than to just buy one.
