Micro:bit Sending Code from an iPad/Phone

Hi Daniel. Has anything improved with speed or 'bugs' in the flash sending to ipads? I'm prepping for an innovation fair with my 3rd grade classes and I'm debating between Laptops and ipads to take along to the event. Thank you for any info!
