VagaVant GTF He isn’t comparing Essau to Jacob. He is showing Jacob’s life, his sinful nature, up to the point that Jacob fully SURRENDERED to God and the contrast between the two. All men are fallen, even Old Testament Characters, David, Abraham, Moses , etc. All of them. By grace through faith have we been saved, not of our works.
