This strategy is made by using really common operators and easy to substitute.
It's not essential to follow the steps perfectly.
Adjust the strategies a little bit for yourself to suit your own team comp better.

@@alicialaupica5084 I tried this fight without E2 Amiya. You can nuke Patriot down if you have E2 Ifrit and E2 Eyjafjalla (3rd skill both) and Patriot is debuffed by a mine.

I e2 her as she has great hp pool.. she helped me brute force wolumonde golem at last ch and 1 cc stages.. (for the record i dont see kyostinv vid until i finished mine)

Personally I think matoimaru high HP does not justify her low def.

Matoimaru is more of tanking art since arts will damage operators under any situation and having no defense doesn't change anything in that interaction. Also never suspected to find another named Arif.
Fun fact: For anyone that's raised an E2 Beeswax, she can tank Patriot's ranged attack and the mortars like they're nothing as long as her skill isn't activated. The higher her level, the more leeway you have if you're not using a healer on her. She needs to be a decent level to survive the massive strikes from Patriot, but her survival isn't RNG-based like W or 12f are. It can make the second phase of this fight easier.
Also, Amiya can always tank at least 1 hit from Patriot's ranged attack (WHILE HER **CHIMERA** SKILL IS ACTIVE!) and will survive with approx. ~100 hp. I'm assuming it's because of story/lore reasons.

Thank you so much for this guide! I sadly didn't have the recourses to promote Amiya right now, so I'm really glad you also made a guide without her. This one worked perfectly, except that I failed at the end and Patriot was able to escape with 2HP or something haha. But at least I was able to read the rest of the story with that, I'll get it done on 3 stars later. Thanks again!

I used a modified version of this with a W support and Myrtle (my best ops were too expensive without a vanguard) and it worked excellently!

Wow 12F is super useful, i love how this game makes even starters relevant, he tanked 2 spear hits for me.

It's always interesting to see the varied ways you can beat the bosses. This method might be better for Auto-deploy since it doesn't rely on RNG (unlike the 12F method which might work fine on one run; the next run he dies on strike 1)
Also, W can pull a strange "double duty" as both bait (gotta love that Ambush talent!) and a source of DPS (Patriot, meet W's little friend, the D12 satchel!)
This map is such a pain, even tried using shamare to reduce the damage. Looks like I'll be waiting till I E2 Amiya (just need the LMD)

Was able to finish this with S3 M3 Saria and SilverAsh. I added Amiya just to make sure Patriot will go down in one go.... and he did. What a challenge!

This was the first time I have relized I had too much DPS to follow the guide X)
I heard about Amiya's true damage against patriot, and I have her at E2 lvl 50, so it's quite easy for me. But it's still fun to see some clever strategy.

E1 s2 (7) Coura worked fine :) made this a little faster using Surt, but only activate her when Patriot starts walking and help her out with bombs, then you can save amiya for 2nd phase :) . thank you so much for the guide, had to borrow amiya from support but made it work, she was E2 but only level 1 skill rank 7

Strat worked, mostly. I have not leveled amiya, yet. so I couldn't do the other method. But this method worked, I uh, made star up adjustments. but otherwise it worked.

This took me so many tries...guess Im not auto-ing this map. I just used Eyjafhalla and Volcanoed the last bits of his health.

I tried Amiya method about 30 times and it didn't worker for me.
But this one is good. Few tries and it's done.
hhh I used Ceobe 3rd skill and ejya and killed him too quickly and he was two tiles away from the bottom left blue tile so I couldnt redeploy blaze and everything went to heck :')

I did tank wolumonde golem and maintaining only 2 device at right side of the map with matoimaru and 4 healers.. because if i dont, mudrock will turn the device making golem wreck my formation..

It took me 15 tries to clear this on my own but after seeing this video, I feel like an idiot.

I killed patriot too early and he stopped on the square right where the long attack range guard should go, suffice it to say that run was dead

I'm pretty sure everyone has Amiya so just use Amiya. If you have Ceobe or Eyja it may work too you don't have them just E2 Amiya since she's cheaper to E2 than other Casters with 5-6 stars rarity. I have Eyja but I just used Amiya instead for this stage along with Silverash.
I just used some guys maxed guard amiya to do the stalling.
Does saria skill 1 lv 7 works for patriot ?

Hey Kyo, yeah this guide works better, only problem is that i get him to 30% in second Phase and he allways Nukes my 3 Medics even if I placed another unit (like at around 11:00 u make him target ur steward) like u did, am I doing something wrong? cuz its frustrating as hell to make it that far only to then Die on the last 3 tiles with 30 % hp left
or rather what is the logic behind that attack? furthest operator? last placed?

Depends on what you're using Specter for. If you're asking if she can replace Blaze/Midnight+Matoi, then I would say probably to some degree, assuming it is e2 at least. If you're asking if she can work as a tank here, thats a definite no unless you're doing a different strat and even then, probably not as she isn't very defensive beyond her timed immunity and it would be hard to kill Patriot in the time before her immunity goes down.

You can use 12F as a master baiter. He has 50% physical dodge. Such dodgery saved me
