Roxas Frost it’s not that bad, just adjust your units. Positioning doesn’t matter, except for the melee units. I did this with 2 healers and it worked out. The most important part is the boss killer and melantha tanking. That’s what was missing in my strategy. I didn’t know only 3 units are needed to beat the boss (gavial, melantha and a sniper).

Love how we unlock auto deploy as if that could work with her randomly deleting half the map as she goes. By the time she died every tile within two spaces of Melania were frozen over, and it took a few tries for her to not make it impossible to keep her out of range of my defenders with her aoe.

I used two AoE healers (Perfumer and Ptilopsis), two dummy-thicc blockers (Estelle, Cuora), with ranged guards backing them up (Nightmare, Frostleaf). You do have to get lucky to have two AoE Medics, and at around E1 50 (or have pulled Perfumer and bought Breeze from the Voucher shop), but if you can get the overlapping healing established, and have promoted your back end guards so they can do enough damage to cover the front, the execution for the level is actually rather simple.
4-9 definitely easier at least it can be done by lvling up operator. 4-10 on the other hand is really sux because of the rng boss skill. No way to auto with low lvl rarity squad even with this guide.

I just cleared this map, after taking a break from farming for CC. My E1 60 Exusiai and Skyfire did most of the work. Great to see that CC prep helps me a lot, especially the 6-star ops!

I had to replay this 2 times because the boss instant kill my Melantha (and Mouuse). Good thing she did not kill Mouuse on the 3rd run (she did kill my 2nd sniper), and Exu was able to burst around half of her HP on the 2nd bar. God damn RNG.
Omg she block right where u suggest so i panic and place kroos right in her range and she kill both melantha and kroos before going down her 1st life but it still a clear win ( barely that is i'm pretty sure the auto will fail) thank 4 the vid XD

QQ: Have any of you suffer from pattern changes? Sometimes her ice attack came on a different platform, a real nightmare since you can't say whether or not she's going to kill your Melantha that blocks her in the end.

What a pain in the ass. Everything went well in practice, but when I switch to the real thing, she instant-killed Melantha all the time. Completed this after at least 5 tries.
Frostnova's black ice attack is random, but there's one scripted ice right where Melantha stands here. It's a race against time. I changed so that there is one more sniper attacking the boss and I added Lappland right behind Melantha to deal extra damage. But in order to do that, I leveled up my casters so that they can hold the left side, and I brought one less vanguard.
I like a silent tutorial. I needed to see an idea not hear an explanation. As politely as i can say this whatever you said i didnt hear it cause i muted it so i could see what i needed to see.

At the end i thought there is more enemy and i will lose, that time when frostnova getting closer to my squad and then my gavial was defeated by her skill and bcs of that i think will lose, and thinking there will be more enemy after defeating her, but then i realized when i already defeated her that she is the last enemy and there's no more xD, thank you so much bro.
I don't know why I make things hard for myself, but every time I figure out how to beat a level myself I always look up the Low lvl vids on this channel and feel like and idiot for over complicating things. lol I absolutely cheesed this level, I mainly used Deepcolor E1, Firewatch E2 (1,008 ATK) and Malentha E1. The second time she stops on the first row I sandwich her between a Tentacle using Deepcolor's +ATK and +DEF move and Marlentha. Firewatch has INSANE range so I killed her the first time before she moves to the second row. Then I use Lappland and another tentacle (as well as Malentha when she's redeployable) to finish her off. Took me 7 times to get it right and a sunken heart when she revived to end my entire career... but I managed to do it. Keep up the good vids.
Got damned lucky that FrostNova only froze one bad spot. She kept my Amiya out of that spot in the video, so I had to put her on the one behind, which meant she was further from a defensive position if Frostnova got too close. But Gravial healing Melantha turned her into a damned TANK. She just sat there and ate Frostnova's first 'life'. Krooz didn't survive that though. And then when Frostnova got too close to Cuora's position, she ended up freezing that spot, which could have been bad... if I hadn't put Courier next to her to be the replacement Melantha when Melantha finally bought it. Every time I play, I feel thankful these vids exist to give me help, because I suck at tower defense.
I ran with 2 healers (1 Aoe) and deployed my AoE caster above your courier. This way I didn't need Cuora and didn't need to use the upper 2 rows. (because those are not guaranteed in auto)
Man this level... Frostnova kept freezing the spot where you were supposed to deploy melantha and then took out both my defenders by freezing the next two blocks in the middle lane. Smh.
Thanks for the guide! It didn't go as smoothly as yours because her nuke and freezing abilities are random and she killed my S2 SilverAsh where your Melantha is, but I still managed to beat her. She was the last unit left and I beat her on the last lane. It became a battle of attrition.
I firstly finished it myself but only for 2 stars since some random guy with shield passed me xD so yeah I went here so I can at least have 3 stars for this. I honesly quite a lot watching your videos like this since I need 3 stars so I can get Originate prime, so thank you for this.
Alternative strat is to use yato, noir and two medic to stall Frostnova in top lane till the last few waves. The medic can also provide healing to the 2nd row, so you only need one Cardigan there to hold the lane. Retreat and redeploy as needed. Steward, Lava and one medic can provide DPS to the 2,3 lane and last lane is guarded by Fang and Dobermann. The main DPS output on FrostNova is when she comes to the second lane, usually, 4 last minions to go. always put your operator in the following order: ranged guard | defender/fast-redeploy | FrostNova This way, the ranged guard will never be oneshot and can reliably output damage. Dobermann being a ranged guard can also join the fight once she clears lane 3. You will have a comfy amount of operators to rotate. There is one slot left. Bring any DPS operator, like Kroos, Melantha, Durin. They are really optional.
Ez Mode is to use that Jaye and Myrtle you probably got from rolling for your favorite 6*. Myrtle gets your defensive formation out much faster and allows for Jaye, who will indefinitely tank and kill the boss as long as the shards don't hit him. Even then, sushiman is fast redeploy so you can just plop him down on cooldown.

Wow, that was *intense* ! My Kroos died because I had to put her one tile to the left of where you put her due to the tile you chose being frozen on my end, then FrostNova took forever to die an ended up killing Melantha, and that turned the operation into a chaotic mess in which I kept putting operators down only for them to die shortly after, but they all managed to do enough damage so that she died to a powered up Jessica shot on the second tile of the bottom lane, with just 2 operators left on the map. I still can't believe I got through that! That does make me wonder, though. Due to the RNG nature of the frozen tiles, can you even auto this map reliably? Seems like it'd be a nightmare for it.

You have to place the sniper far enough from her AoE, meaning at least 2 tiles behind + 1 up or down

For me this strat worked excellently on both normal and challenge mode. Getting Melantha from e0 1 to e1 38 was worth it.

At the end i thought there is more enemy and i will lose, that time when frostnova getting closer to my squad and then my gavial was defeated by her skill and bcs of that i think will lose, and thinking there will be more enemy after defeating her, but then i realized when i already defeated her that she is the last enemy and there's no more xD, thank you so much bro.
I don't know why I make things hard for myself, but every time I figure out how to beat a level myself I always look up the Low lvl vids on this channel and feel like and idiot for over complicating things. lol
I absolutely cheesed this level, I mainly used Deepcolor E1, Firewatch E2 (1,008 ATK) and Malentha E1. The second time she stops on the first row I sandwich her between a Tentacle using Deepcolor's +ATK and +DEF move and Marlentha. Firewatch has INSANE range so I killed her the first time before she moves to the second row. Then I use Lappland and another tentacle (as well as Malentha when she's redeployable) to finish her off. Took me 7 times to get it right and a sunken heart when she revived to end my entire career... but I managed to do it.

Got damned lucky that FrostNova only froze one bad spot. She kept my Amiya out of that spot in the video, so I had to put her on the one behind, which meant she was further from a defensive position if Frostnova got too close. But Gravial healing Melantha turned her into a damned TANK. She just sat there and ate Frostnova's first 'life'. Krooz didn't survive that though. And then when Frostnova got too close to Cuora's position, she ended up freezing that spot, which could have been bad... if I hadn't put Courier next to her to be the replacement Melantha when Melantha finally bought it.
Every time I play, I feel thankful these vids exist to give me help, because I suck at tower defense.

I ran with 2 healers (1 Aoe) and deployed my AoE caster above your courier. This way I didn't need Cuora and didn't need to use the upper 2 rows. (because those are not guaranteed in auto)
Do it by myself, that not easy (2 days LoL), but, really interesting how it can be without AOE snipers. P/S: Hello from Russia. o/
I ganged up on Frostnova with E1 lvl 67 Surtr, E2 lvl 13 blaze and E1 lvl 69 max pot purgatory and like 4 healers absolute slaughter.

Was able to clear using this guide but the only ops not dead were Kal'tsit, Amiya and Leonhardt, o7 Mon3tr as the last defense.
I thought I was winning. Then Frostnova pulled a pro-gamer move.
Man this level... Frostnova kept freezing the spot where you were supposed to deploy melantha and then took out both my defenders by freezing the next two blocks in the middle lane. Smh.
Thanks for the guide! It didn't go as smoothly as yours because her nuke and freezing abilities are random and she killed my S2 SilverAsh where your Melantha is, but I still managed to beat her. She was the last unit left and I beat her on the last lane. It became a battle of attrition.
I firstly finished it myself but only for 2 stars since some random guy with shield passed me xD so yeah I went here so I can at least have 3 stars for this.

Alternative strat is to use yato, noir and two medic to stall Frostnova in top lane till the last few waves. The medic can also provide healing to the 2nd row, so you only need one Cardigan there to hold the lane. Retreat and redeploy as needed.
Steward, Lava and one medic can provide DPS to the 2,3 lane and last lane is guarded by Fang and Dobermann.
The main DPS output on FrostNova is when she comes to the second lane, usually, 4 last minions to go. always put your operator in the following order:
ranged guard | defender/fast-redeploy | FrostNova
This way, the ranged guard will never be oneshot and can reliably output damage. Dobermann being a ranged guard can also join the fight once she clears lane 3. You will have a comfy amount of operators to rotate.
There is one slot left. Bring any DPS operator, like Kroos, Melantha, Durin. They are really optional.
Can I have a question for you that if I don't have cuora what other operators I should use to block four of them?
Ez Mode is to use that Jaye and Myrtle you probably got from rolling for your favorite 6*. Myrtle gets your defensive formation out much faster and allows for Jaye, who will indefinitely tank and kill the boss as long as the shards don't hit him. Even then, sushiman is fast redeploy so you can just plop him down on cooldown.

Wow, that was *intense* ! My Kroos died because I had to put her one tile to the left of where you put her due to the tile you chose being frozen on my end, then FrostNova took forever to die an ended up killing Melantha, and that turned the operation into a chaotic mess in which I kept putting operators down only for them to die shortly after, but they all managed to do enough damage so that she died to a powered up Jessica shot on the second tile of the bottom lane, with just 2 operators left on the map. I still can't believe I got through that!
That does make me wonder, though. Due to the RNG nature of the frozen tiles, can you even auto this map reliably? Seems like it'd be a nightmare for it.
